I called 3 dealerships Friday and no one gave me the same price. Prices varied $200 on 315-75-16 BFG KM2s.

I'm getting mine installed Weds at Toyota of Easley. They were almost $200 cheaper. And they will set my alignment specs to the #s I want.
 
I've got 4-315's that I took off my 80 that have about 30% or more tread depth left. Have been wheeled and theres a little cracking between treads but still tons of life. I drove on them to charleston 3 weeks ago. $300. They are nitto terra grapplers

I also have 1 brand new one that was spare. $200

As a matter of fact I did, came across it looking for 4runners :D, Price is a little high but man if it is mechanically injected and not ECU, it'd be a sweet little engine for anything from a 40 to 62 and tacoma and 4runners.

If I didn't have 12 other projects going on right now I'd be jumping all over it...

Some one needs to buy it and have Marshall do a swap for them so I can see it in person, we need more diesels in this club :grinpimp:

I think someone was selling some on here not long ago. If you cant find them check out the trail gear spacers. I run them on my 40 and haven't had any issues. Check with Steve I think he's a trail gear vendor now.

Nope. The one with issues is the L series of yota diesels.

Some report issues but it is minor compared to say the 1FZ-Es head issues.

yeah but you'll double your MPGs :hillbilly: plus the inherent simplicity of the 1-wire diesel, it is the ultimate expedition/ zombie apocolyspe drivetrain :beer:
 
That was the factory engine for the year Prado that my GX is. I plan on swapping mine at some point...have to tire out the V8 first.

I heard a mutual friend of ours in a particular LC club, not mentioning any names here, but his starts with a M and ends in a L was looking for a V8 to replace a tired 6cyl in a particular cruiser he owns. Then he could tire out the V8 and you could have a diesel GX!!:bounce:

I have a set of MetalTech 1.5" I just got in. They are on the FJ but I can get another set ASAP.
