I've never stated my arms don't suck, actually quite the contrary, ALL things considered.

I was merely looking for guidance on how best to put a glossy luster on the half polished turd, because I don't have ways and means to do a whole hell of a out about it.

Won't debate the merits of any, because I lack authority to do so, BUT at the end of the day, it's all going on a fat ass station wagon.

Long before I bought what I bolted on, even the 80, I attempted to, or did communicate with Billy, Bink's, and 4WU, the latter volunteering to send a to be purchased 80 to him to three link, evidenced somewhere in the annuls of Mud.

Wasn't stopping with the front, either, since the reason I have an 80 was what I'd "learned" planning to link the front and rear of an FJC. Was prepared to do both, aggressively sought someone reputable to do ('cause there ain't no doubt I fall into the bolt on crowd ) and couldn't elicit any interest from anyone reputable.

So that leaves me with either fixing my chit, which was what I was asking opinions on, earlier in the thread ( that is a three link thread, not a "help me fix my chit" thread, I do have to admit ) or finding someone capable of completely redoing and achieving what I consider shortcomings of the current.

If you want, I'll ship it to you, but I reserve the right for all leather stains to be my own DNA.

Having heard the same banter for as many years, instead of convincing detractors how much better a three link is, seize the opportunity and produce a proven system that works and sell 'em for an obscene profit.

I love you man, but im no salesam/shop owner. Id love to hump landcruisers for $, but theres no coin in it. The very best in the fab industry probably make twice as less as you and i. They probably dont wanna see a truck/wagon on weekends either. I still like my trucks. Theyre recreational therapy. I save a bazillion bucks on ADD meds and psych appts by owning an fjz.

You think this is bad? You should have seen the recent thread in the 100 section about doing a SAS. Half the posts were deleted, that's how bad it was.

You can't put the whole 80 crowd on MUD in the same bucket. There's a wide variety of 80 owners here. Some who simply use it as a daily driver, bone stock. Some make them look capable but never go offroad. Some build expedition style rigs where they don't care about maximizing the flex in the front end. Then you have the guys that use their 80s as pretty serious crawlers with the the tools and skills to make it better.

Then there's people like Delancy and I. We know the stock setup sucks, we want more out of it, we want what you guys have - but don't know how to go about it. If I had the funds I'd gladly drop off my truck at Binks and have him redo the whole damn suspension. But that's a pipe dream. So I'm here to learn as much as possible and figure out how to do most of the work myself with the help of others.

Almost got a 100 this time around, but the 80 body is much better looking IMO. 100 is boring cosmetically.

However, dual cases on the back of the 2uz a340 is obtainable. Where we are pretty stuck. Still lookin to blend the a340 ass end to my a343 someday. 23spline minitruck crawlbox to toyboxed fj60 splitcase.
 
Everyone(myself included) likes to argue the 80 is too fat and slow to need anymore suspension than the factory radius arms provide. But the issues are in onroad drivabilty as well and 75% of the ultra4 cars at KoH 2014 weighed about the same as an 80.
