Wow! When can I drop my 60 off?
Looks really clean man.

anytime, just bring the cruiser and a blank check.
the engine compartment for this swap was a little of a "challenge". there's a lot of stuff going on: engine and blower, air cleaner, brake master and booster, ac stuff, rad, intercooler, intercooler pump, intercooler reservoir, dual batteries, overflow bottle ( stock gm ) headlight washer bottle, wiper washer bottle, battery isolator, charcoal canister ( oem gm ), remote res ps setup, ps cooler, aux trans cooler, ecm, wiring harness, fuel system, ps box, hoses, hoses and more hoses,.......good times.
when i take on a conversion, i map out everything that needs to go in the engine compartment and then work my way down creating a list that goes in order of "geographical limitation/importance". some items can only ocupy one certain spot, some are "variables".
one of the challenges for this swap was the fact that we're only running a 2.5" lift, so there's precious little room under the engine for anything. the exhaust on the passenger side actually wraps around the front of the engine and then ties into the driver side. both cats are next to the trans on the driver side as required by the cali smog nazis.
the blower also severely limited engine placement while still being able to run an un-molested oem hood. then there was the exhaust to frame clearnace issue, then the ps box to ps pump clearance, .... the list goes on. tight fit but it all ended up working out well. i'm happy with it anyways, the owner of the 60 has'nt seen it yet. as long as it puts a smile on his face, i'll be stoked.
