What stock goes in the empty hole?
Very likely to be a switch panel that goes there.
That'll run all the 12v, lights, winch controllers and air compressors.

It may also be another cup holder, not fully decided just yet.

Originally was the L-N-H Stick boot.

Can't have enuff 🍺 holders fo da Fosters 🍺🤔🧐😉😘😘🤣

Welder was playing up all day, but the tunnel is 'together'

Have to clean up the welds back to flat and fill any gaps, before adding the bracing between the seats.

Had to remake the body mount and add some supports as the new radiator needs some love.

Welded in some 12M bolts to the mount to suite.
Radiator turns up in a few days.

Radiator bolted in. Guards zip tied back together.
Lots of clearance for thermo fans and Coolers.

55 got a new shed with fairy lights.

I may also be going down a tainted path, but I installed some Jeep JK Hood latches to make this 55 exactly how I envison it.

Australia also requires two methods to hold the bonnet down, go figure.

I understand the regs are what they are, but what do they consider 2 methods for holding the bonnet closed? What modern car has 2 different latches for a bonnet? All my modern cars have the same basic latch type that a 55 uses. First released by the cable pull, then released by manually moving the latch to lift up the bonnet. Would that be considered 2 methods or is it only one, and if it's one, how do modern cars get a pass?

Sorry, I missed a key comment.
I ended up removing the original bonnet latch system, as such removing the bonnet mechanisms.

I now need to run 2x sets of independent latches.
Ill be running 2x Bonnet Pins and 2x Jeep JL/JK hood latches to keep the engineer happy.
