Body mounted to the chassis, sitting on factory 80 series rubbers right round.
Making crush tubes and tweaking body mount lengths now.

Crush tubes were between the rubbers so the bolts do wear them out inside the mounts.

Weekly update.

FJ55 looking fine with some hot passes on the welder. Utilised a stick welder to lay some hot beads as my engineer wasn't happy with my first attempt, welds were too cold.

Stopped by the local ARB store on valentines Day and treated myself and the shorty, before taking my wife to a winery for some R&R.

Why do my projects always escalate.
Brown 55 is primed ready for the next stage.
Green 55 is in need of a fuel solenoid and it's back on the tracks.

Tomorrow the 55 heads to have the rest of the rust cut out and repaired. Looking forward to putting this into primer this year.

I am playing around with using a HDJ80 ARB Highmount bullbar to suit the 55 body, though I'm not sure it'll stay. Needs some tweaks.
