Doing inventory last night of all the parts, I realized shipping is going to get expensive as one part is about 4 foot long. I am guessing the strip for the rear glass. That is going to be a big box....

My first thought was to see if there are groups of buyers that are near each other so I can group ship them out in groups and then you can get together locally.

Then I realized that I did not capture everyone's mailing address yet in my spreadsheet.... guess that seemed so far off when we started this, I did not capture it. I looked at Paypal and did not see addresses, so can everyone send me a PM or email with your preferred shipping address? Business address typically costs less. Also, let me know if you want signature needed or any special services. We don't have many porch pirates where I am, too much lead poisoning options. Glock, S&W, Reminington, etc.

The last time I organized a group buy, all the stuff came to me on a pallet all ready to go, I would grab a box, slap a shipping label on it and off it went to a group member.... well, this time, the boxes we got from Australia were organized by part.... Thus, we had about 900 individual parts to separate.... which is all great until you reach the end and you are missing some parts and have some extra... then your auditor wife has you dig back through box after box....

Well, I digress... many thanks go out to our local 55 friend Steve Riddle, as he came over this morning for out quest to separate this stuff.

All the kits are separated and made up. We ended up missing only a handful of parts that members had added onto their orders. I recall them saying some things were not available; however, it may have been a mistake on my end.

I will work to see if we can group ship out as I get all the addresses. Plan to get them all shipped this week.

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night.

Really appreciate your hard work. I know you said you didn't want anything from it but I hope one day at a pig party or SSS I can hand you a nice bottle of liquor, or beer, or hot chocolate. Whatever you're in to.

Thank you again so much for taking this on - we really appreciate it!

Hope you and family have a great Christmas!

@2fpower I reside in Morro Bay California which is roughly 3 hours from Los Angeles and 3 hours from San Francisco. If this helps any of the California buyers out I frequently travel throughout California.... Or it's a relatively nice area to visit for a weekend or day trip get away.

Thanks again for all the work on this!

Thank you for this offer. I think I can get 4 sets in one box, so lets see who is close together. If we use Joe's location as a central point.... He is in Morro Bay.

Is this close to @Tomba @xtiaan2000 @Megadoomer @faeriej55 @Lilgreen77 @bhoyles55

It's more than 4 hours but I am not worried. I drive to the Bay Area often plus I'm thinking about Pig trip north anyway. I also have some projects in Morro Bay and get one of my crews to pick it up. But I'd rather meet another Sty member in person.

Then.... @Megadoomer are you close to @xtiaan2000 ?

I really don't want to make this more trouble than it is worth... just worried about damaging that long piece and worried about shipping costs getting doubled...

If any of you are close to one another, let me know and I can at least put two in one box. I have them all bagged separately now, so it will be easy once you get it.

First four sets off. Casey and Cooper had ordered two each.

I am learning a lot that I will never need to know again...

magic numbers for Fedex are 48" long and 50lbs. Over either of those and the price doubles.

Shipping two kits is about 40lbs, so that is the magic number. Just need to cut down boxes to get to the right size...

Goal is to ship a bunch today and get my garage back.

Going back to the CA folks, are any of you close enough together that I can combine two kits?

@Tomba is in Mill Valley
@bhoyles55 is in San Fran
@lilgreen is in Palo Cedro
@joesfj40 is in morro bay
@faeriej55 is in North Hollywood
@55guy is in Sacramento

Oof. I would like to keep my kit as almost every seal has 1/2 inch gap. I was going to wait till I did my roof swap so I don't need the kit asap. Is there a way the company can honor the purchase some time next year?
