I left Seattle late this evening, just gassed up in Moses Lake and heading east on I 90
I am hoping to push through Into Idaho before I stop for the night. Current plan is to meet up with Kevin @Awl_TEQ in Butte Montana tomorrow afternoon.

Love me some Seattle!

Cant wait to see Pearl Jam there in Aug for 2 glorious nights

I made it to Farragut State park in Idaho last night about 4am, just hit the road on the way to Butte. I sorta poached the parking lot and met the Ranger this morning...oops. I got to stay my first night in the troopy and froze my butt off.

Hey, we're getting dumped on up here this winter - NOT! Woke up to 1/2" of snow this morning, we're up to 1" total out of the three storms we've had all winter, normal winter snowfall here above 7,000 feet is about 50". Maybe later this week.

Nice to meet you and your son Kevin. Drive safe home. My goal is Bozeman tonight and to Rapid City South Dakota which is home for me Tomorrow.

Great to meet you too! It was a long day and my BJ42 ran like a champ averaging 120kph for seven hours straight down I15 to Butte. Had to take it easy through some twisty bits due to ice on the road. The BFG's are awesome on everything but ice!! Short wheel base makes for white knuckles.

We had dinner in Butte after you left us and then headed North. I wasn't sure how far we would go but in the end we went all the way home. Crossed the border at 2:00am with the toolbox and were home at 5:00am Sunday. We hit a snow storm around 3:00am and had to slow down to see the road. Fell in behind a transport truck which was a mixed blessing. His wake was hard to see through but he did blow the light snow off the road so I had a gray path of pavement to follow.

video to follow.....

You can definitely tell Kevin is a metal man! Holy crap his cruiser is NICE! Well thought out build!

Thanks Redgrr, but there was a lot of trial and error in getting to where it is now!

Here are a couple of short videos - just shots thru the windshield driving along. We were in such a rush to meet up that we didn't take many pictures. I thought we were way behind schedule and didn't want Redgrr to have to wait on us. Turns out he had a couple issues slow him down and we both arrived in Butte in short succession.

Cruising down to Butte trying to make time.

Driving through the night - twisty section North of Butte
The gear whine you hear is the Advanced Adapters 4:1 gears. Sometimes sounds like a jet engine spooling. I don't mind the whine but it is loud.

And the Baton made it to the garage!

Heck, I could have handled half the handoffs myself! Just got back from a 14 day whirlwind road trip covering over 5100 miles thru 16 states, CA to IN, then back thru MN, SD and MT.
