Well im 8hrs east of @Awl_TEQ and am willing to meet in the middle somewhere then the batton will be in souther sask with me 2hrs north of MT. Just have to see if schedules can be worked out. Currently off work for another week then busy last week of july till 6th of Aug the nflying to Seattle for 4 days then might have a week off say the 13th-20th or a few days ltr.

The briefcase had a successful handoff at the Solid Axle Summit in Ouray, CO from @Reznugget. Reznugget took the briefcase over Black Bear, Imogene, Corkscrew, Engineer and Ophir Pass before we took it. It then traveled south down 550 to Durango and then over to Pagosa Springs ending down south in Los Cerrillos, NM.
Anyone want to meet for a handoff in NM or surrounding states?
I’ll buy you beer and lunch!

I am up to meet any 40's in the surrounding states in the coming months. If no hand off by then I will be planning another trip to Death valley in Feb. 2019! Lets create more memories MUDDERS!

If @John in Utah doesn't take it and no one else steps up, bring it to me. We could meet i Quemado or in that area and I could try go go either east or west from Southern NM. There has to be some 40s that have been put back on the road since the batons passed the first round. Make sure you let the local clubs know when you are looking for a handoff. I know some of them are not aware of this adventure. Does anyone know the status on the 2 toolboxes? Lets gitem rollin!

After front and rear axle rebuilds, new brakes, drums, cylinders, new water pump and coolant flush this summer, I finally feel confident with a road trip. If a box needs to go through Oklahoma, I’m in.

WOW!!! What an awesome response everybody! I have been very busy and distracted the last few days since solid axle summit, a very good lifelong friend of mine is in the hospital with serious heart problems. He is doing much better and may come home soon, the whole town of Madrid has raised money to help him , as he has no income and we are trying to get him medicaid insurance but his birth certificate, ss#, old drivers license was all stolen years ago. Wednesday a few friends and i will go and clean and do some serious maintenance on Arroyo Dan,s small off grid cabin to get it nice for him. Thanks for listening Folks.
I will definitely make a plan and post it here, I really like all the ideas, especially the heritage museum!
I need to come up with a solution to vent my fuel tank better but I,ll figure it out.
