Okay guys, I was just wondering how many running FJ25s are out there without a T-Bird hood emblem. I'm not talking about parts rigs, but 25s that are owned and driven, or projects that are really on their way to being on the dirt again. Just curious. Thanks.

And post up a picture please.

Looks like the kids are having fun in there. Now we're both getting older and the memory is slipping... did I send you my FJ25 spare tire carrier back in the day?

No Gene, it seems I wasn't the lucky one. I am using FJ40 mount and even that will require modification to match my early 8 bolt pattern. At the moment only top 2 holes are bolted. Yeah kids are growing up rather too quickly. This pic is about 8-9 month old, can't believe both were not even born when I bought my 25.

Gene the one you sent me is all shiny chrome plated now. Still not bolted on but getting closer. Thanks, John

Good John, I'm glad I could help you out.

Don't have an FJ25, but I'd still like one for the BJ42 & FJ45LV.

I'm glad you posted here and I'll make a note of it, but right now I just wanted to get a read on how many guys like Archie have been driving around a 25 without an emblem.

I bought my FJ40 12 years before my first son was born and now he's 26. It sounds like I'm the old man here.

I bought my first 40 five years before my oldest was born but she turns thirty-eight this year.:hmm: It will be forty-three years this month since I bought it. It's been sitting for years because my son destroyed a good clutch in a very short time. Says he going to replace it. Won't tell you how long I've been waiting for that to happen.

Looks like you got me by 5 years and we have a new winner old man! :D

New winner:hmm: not sure new is the right term when talking old. :meh: Certainly not a new member or FJ25 owner. LandCruiserSteve used to hold title of oldest but he has been gone from this site a long time. Not sure if John @pardion or myself moved into the number one spot after Steve left the site. I sure I'm sure John is the true holder of the title.

I've been part of this community too long to think I was the oldest, but damn if the years aren't dragging me closer to the front of the line. ;)

Got it.

I've been getting pm'd on emblem requests which is fine, but please post here as well. It just helps keep everything in one place. Add whether or not you own a 25 as well. I only have a handful left and would like to see the birdless 25sget one first. I will be making another run of solid brass emblems in the future.
