It is getting to the time when you work on it all day and see little difference.

The bed is on and squared up with the cab.

A few poser shots since I pulled it out of the shop.

Some new hardware as well.

These are from Ruff Stuff.

They are built for dual yellow top sized optimas. One is for a side by side mounting configuration and is for end to end.

The end to end will go in this rig and the side by side will go in the Tow Rig.

Sweet build ! Bring that puppy to Cruise Moab.

Spare.............WE DON'T NEED NO STINKIN' SPARE ! No worries, we run outlaw most of the time anyway :D

One of the reasons I'll never actually sign up for Cruise Moab.

Dan that thing is looking awesome :)

It won't pass the tech inspection.

I don't have a spare tire and no CB. :crybaby:

It will be there though. :D

Very cool, nice build!
I look forward to seeing it in person.:D

Off topic - Regarding the Tech requirements for Cruise Moab. At the moment we have certain permit restrictions that limit us to "Registered and Insured" vehicles. I encourage people with "unique" rigs, like yours, to contact CM Committee members to discuss potential "exceptions" to the TLCA requirements before assuming they won't pass ( OK, the CB requirement is firm but it's easy to get a handheld:hillbilly:)
It is also important feedback to help us keep CM aligned with the Toyota wheeling community.

It gets my vote as one of the coolest rigs on here, well done Dan.

Super cool rig!
I was thinking of putting an fj40 tub (and make my own fj45 bed to put behind that) on an older Dodge cummins chassis someday.

Some new hardware as well.

Where are you gonna put them?;)

Dan, OT, Jerry told me you bought that tan 40 at Jone's towing. You were about 200 yards from my house. I have been looking at that thing for the past 3 years. I would have met you there. Send me a PM on your plans or if there is any thing your parting on it that would be interesting . . .

Back On Topic now . . . Too bad the 45.5 can't make it this weekend.

Looks excellent Dan.

 & a

Thanks for the compliments from everybody.

I took it to the Jeep Club meeting tonight. They had a Bar B Que in the park and every member brought thier rig. After looking it over, a few members left pissed/shocked, the rest really liked it. I have to admit the pictures do not really do it justice.

I'm leaving it on the trailer since it is going to Calico this weekend to drive around on some dirt trails/roads. It should be a nice shake down run for Moab.

I also picked up a case of primer so it should all be one color.

OH boy . . . I am off next week. Invite me over for some beverages and I'll help you spray it :)

I think I looks like s***:flipoff2:

Next time your up the way Dan stop for some dinner:beer:
