Just curious - how did you cut the arc in that piece? Hole saw, plasma and sanding drum or have you got a laser? :D

Spare part of another kit or just a piece you had lying around? Looks laser cut to me.

just out of curiousity, is the 1" spacer going to be enough to keep the cylinder/mount away from the tie rod as the tie rod sweeps forward when turning to either side?

Very good question.

I'm waiting till I get the power steering hose I need made so I can see how everything is going to move before I weld anything in place.

Removed the Windshield frame from my 1964 FJ 40 Carcass.

Drilled out the hinge pins after I broke 3 tips on the impact driver trying to get the screws out.

Mounted the windshield frame on the rig.

I still have to get new pins.

I have almsot every fitting I need.

Except the one on the pressure side of the box.

It is where the white cap is. It is a different thread than the others.

Watch for caviatation on the feed line to the pump. Those right angles make it hard for the fluid to move as fast as you may need.

How the ram is going to sit.

Bleeding the air out of the lines with them laid over likel that is sometimes hard. Keep that in mind.

BTW, smokin job drilling out the hinge pins.. I have NEVER been able to drill that straight!

from the res to the pump or from the pump to the box . ?

Are the pump not ready to " suck " as much fluid as it needs .. ?

Its recomended blled the piston at the piston fittings or the complete system .. with all conectors tight ?

From the res to the pump.

The pumps do not do a very good job of "sucking".

MAN I LOVE YOUR TRUCK ... keep up the good work

Mine is a 1.5" x 8" ram that has a spacer block only allowing for 7" of travel.

tha's not fair .. Kelvin didn't advice me about spacer block ... ? ( inside the piston ? )

damn !

Which it's the worse case scenario if you run it without spacer . ?

break expensive hard to repair stuff when you try to turn farther than the arms allow. :)
