The New Yellow Top Optima Battery was replaced with a 1996 Red Top.

Wiring to and from the Engine is done.


8274 is not wired yet.

It was something like $110. Don't that I put a floormounted E-brake in this.

BTB in Henderson (Las Vegas) has the 8" longer Dash mounted style cable. I would still by from California Push Pull though.

Got home and had a few minutes last night.

I drilled a installed a grommet for the wiring after painting the rear air filter support and installing the VIN plate.

I also installed the "Dirty Filter" monitor or whatever they call the little spring loaded plunger thingy.

The front of the air filter housing was not secure enough for my satisfaction so I made a front mount as well.


The bottom picture shows how the air intake just lays on the tube fender.

How it looks now with the new front bracket with an AV Isolator installed.

The middle picture is how the filter sat in the relaxed position. The bottom pic shows the bolt in place.

In theory, the metal tube couplers could slide down inside the air intake pipe even with the clamps tight.

I welded a bead in the middle so they will stay in place.

I have to tighten up the P Arm and drag link and really try it out.


Once I get it dialed in, I will finish mounting the Hydro steer assist cylinder and plumb it all together.

Very cool build, I've never seen a cummins/cruiser match over here ,might have to hunt down an engine.

Cleaned up more wiring and moved a few things around so most everything is inside the cab.
