I'm still blown away with thier service. I have bought a lot of little parts from Cummins West so they kinda know me. I called them with my engine numbers and they could not find that part on the IPL. They e-mailed me the breakdown. I took pics of the part and picked the part I though it was from the IPL and sent it back. They sent me a price and I ordered it.

It was shipped from Cummins Inc in Mephis TN and I had it 20 hours later. All this for $52.

Damn. Makes me want to put a cummins in my truck instead of a Toy diesel!

Just a suggestion but you should get your gas tank lined

Im no magician so I cannot move a hole.



Weld it back shut, pressure test the tank to 12PSI (diesel) and then drill a new hole and install sending unit.
 
The Cummins guys in Memphis are a good group of people. I hung out with a guy from there last month. He was talking about some new products that sounded sweet.
 
It helps keep your EGT normal which mean you do not loose HP on big hills. It does nothing to increase hp.

not directly .. but ( I like this But .. )

Lower EGT means more room for more fuel .. more fuel in a turbo diesel engine means more powa ..

So if you run a big front mounted intercooler or a top with a fan intercooler, you are always getting lower intake temps .. that drive you to lower EGT that drive again in to more room for fuel ..

Actually if you just add more " boost " ( and know boost it's relative between fuel available and engine load ) there is nothing more than boost ..

But .. ( again this But ! :D )

with more fuel ( that it's the main reason to run a turbo and anyind of intake temp cooler ) you are producing instant more powa ..
