My head gasket already exploded... So I can just say it. That is a kick ass 100 & It would be nice to have something like that next to my 80. Please report back on the Fox valving. I'm sure we all would apreciate some input from someone who has actually used them off road. Nice.
That's a cool setup you have spressomon. You make such a strong case for learning to weld!
Regarding your dog kennels, I used to have two plastic kennels but I switched to two wire kennels instead. It makes it so you can see out the back and also I can check on how the dogs are doing on a long trip.
For anyone with their pups in the car, I definitely recommend having them confined. It keeps them in place on the bumpy trails, but more importantly, it keeps them confined if you have a wreck. I lost a dog after an accident (smaller vehicle) because all the glass broke and he decided to get the "heck" out of there. Unfortunately we were on a busy 12-lane highway. I miss mine sitting up front with me, but I always put them in the kennel now.

Thank you Birdhunter. Just did the 12mm body lift last weekend. It's getting the rear shock mounts redone plus adding the Fox adjustable compression fittings to the remotes. Building a new pair of sliders...hopefully just in time for the Nevada Chukar opener (oh...its going to be a tough year up here for birds. DOW states just 1-chick per 100 birds this year
)

You know I didn't take photos due to a compressed time issue to get it done. However I will do the write up soon. It is a
job. I used high density plastic that has a UV inhibitor (per advice from someone on the 80 board); pulled the plastic sill plates from each door and rear door, vertical plastic cover behind the seat belt/mechanism and then pulled the carpet back/up to get at the bolt heads. It took me about 8-hours because I had to remove the AO drawer assembly and sliders...otherwise without those it would been maybe a 5-hour job. As soon as I get the sliders built (for this Saturday's run hopefully!) I'll post a write up with pics of the bolts, etc.

I get a few inquiries about the Magnaflow and rear tail pipe so I thought I would update this thread with these pics. FYI: The Magnaflow is 24" in length and from it back is 2.5" exhaust tubing.

Oh yeah...I added the rear locker protector/guard from Slee a couple months ago that you can see in the muffler pic above. And I'm working on the dual fuel tank array. I'll post up on that once its all completed and installed.
Spresso: hows the magnaflow SOUND?
And also wondering if it wasnt too late to take you up on that custom BL fabrication?????

its quiet, but has a nicer tone to it then the stock one. You can at least hear there's a V8 running.
Ya, thats kinda what im looking for. Nothing to LOUD, but enough to hear a little rumble.

I think I have enough UV resistant black material to cut out another set. PM me.
I really like the medium Magnaflow with a straight 2/5" tailpipe to the rear (got rid of the resonator and never regretted it!). As Loud stated: Not obnoxious at all but enough to add just the right throaty V8 sound.

Yes...the resonator is the final/last "can" in the system closest to the rear bumper. Plus if you upgrade to the Magnaflow your muffler guy can run 2.5" all the way back from the MF. And you can tuck the tail pipe up so exhaust exits flush with the bottom of the frame rail like I have mine pretty much eliminating and possibility of crushing it.

Being way past my days of wanting/liking rumbling exhaust
on pretty much anything with a motor these days I was worried about the noise level especially at highway speeds. But I had to remove it because I was tired of smashing the tail pipe and having to pry it back; my motivation for removing the resonator was for additional clearance. The side benefit to eliminating that sizable 'rock attracter' was a little less restriction/better flow and just the right sound for me. FYI: It is ALONG way from "loud". And if someone is after a more pronounced V8 rumble you/they would want to think about a shorter Magnaflow than mine.They other thing I might as well add to this thread: I installed DynaMat Extreme to the rear interior of mine last week (basically from the middle of the middle seat row rearward including inner rear fender walls and wheel wells. The difference in the relative absence of road noise is incredible! This is in addition to the DM we installed in the front 4-doors when we did the sound system install.
