I ordered sliders and a PS plate for my 40 from Simon. Sliders were shipped within hours of me placing the order. I ordered on a Friday and received them on a Wed. in OH. PS plates were still being made. I got a pm from him when they were shipped with a tracking #. I think Simon is back on track so throw him some business if you need some fab work.

so now would be a good time to get a hold of him to get the rest of my stuff............ He hasn't returned any of my phone calls over the past month :(

It is good to see you had a positive experience, and hopefully Simon is back on track you hate to see someone burnout........

What do you need.
He usually answer my PMs on Pirate fairly quickly, w/i 24 hours

The frame attachtments for my sliders, yeah he used to respond to my PMs and emails then that stopped and I started calling him got him twice out of about 10 times................ Everytime I talked with him since about october he said he would have my stuff shipped out the next day and email me a shipping #, and it never happens..........

I called him out on Ih8mud earlier this year because he quit communicating with me, and that got his attention and he said he would fix the problem right away and now it is over two months later and I still haven't gotten all of what I payed for back at the end of JULY..............

Here is a link to my saga if you want to see: https://forum.ih8mud.com/showthread.php?t=25842

I hate to bring the guy out on here, but I am going to contact him again next week and if I don't get a response from him I have no other choice, because when I come on here and tell everyone one what the deal is he starts responding to me

I was tod he stopped making the frame attachments b/c they could not figure out a universal bracket to make everyone happy.

Well it turns out Simon doesn't make the frame attachments anymore, and Simon was kind enough to refund me half of the cost of the sliders since he wasn't able to find a good solution for the frame mounts. So all is well now. Thanks for making things right Simon.

. . . . [sigh]

pappy..pm him on the pirate mb....he usually replies there pretty quickly or call

got a ps plate from another member of pirate that got it from simon and i have pics posted on pirate of it and its awsome. just weld it in place and go. for the price it can't be beat.

I was over at Faultline the other day to pick up a hood I had delivered there (Thanks, Simon!), and Simon spent at least ten minutes talking to me. With this much free time, he definitely needs some extra work. Come on, guys! Let's make sure he doesn't have the opportunity to contuinue this slacking-off in the future. Send him your work!!! NOW!

I gave him work and I'm getting the run-around

I gave him some work and still have not received anything from him. At last check (3/4/05) I got a UPS tracking number, it's now the 3/15/05 and the package has never been dropped off or picked up by UPS. This after being told the parts were built, packed and ready to ship. Parts were ordered and paid for 2/1/05 and I hoped to have them here and installed in time for the LSLC Roundup. Now I just hope I get them  I'm still waiting for a reply to my last PM. Friday (3/18/05) will have to the "drop dead" day when I will contest the credit card payment via PayPal and insist on a refund. I have had good luck dealing with Simon (and Georg) on other parts, but don't understand the problem with this order. I really hate posting this here or on any other forum and when the issue is resolved (either way) I will post the outcome. Simon, if you're following this thread, the ball is in your court and the outcome of this post rests squarely with you.

Update on missing parts order

UPDATE: I got a PM Monday from Simon so I hope to have a package soon. I know the products will be excellent, just two months to get it.

There maybe posts coming from a new user, TUFFTORQ, who has some very strong opinions about FaultLine and Simon. I received a PM from him at 04:32 this morning, ranting about the same stuff he ranted about on Pirate. I have read all the posts on PBB and from what I can see, he HAD a gripe once but the buttom line IMHO is he accepted a settlement with Simon and accepted, publicly, Simon's personal apology! It's over, let it go, move on!

If this thread or any other turns into the drama BS that went on over there I will be first to be asking the Mods. and Admin. for intervention. There is NO need for that here. In fact I have already given Woody and a couple others a heads-up, forwarded TUFFTORQ's PM and my reply and activated my IGNORE list!

On a lighter note....Simon, if having those SO perches hanging around finally convinces me to go SOA on my 40.........Dang-it, I'll be really pissed :D

Hi Simon,
Not trying to beat you over here...just need to know what's going on. Let me know what UPS has to say.

Why not? I've gone out of my way to give Simon my money. Finally told him I give up. I even gave him an extra four weeks before posting here. On March 4th he wrote:

"No don't give up yet. Its going out Monday. I'd ship today but I missed the pickup deadline. Here is the tracking number. Simon 1Z49YF960396636977"

Bogus, fawking, liar.

If one were to run that tracking number on the UPS website, one would likely see that a billing memo was generated but no package ever moved.......

Oh, Pap.........it's spelled liar...........
