$1200, no comp numbers or oil pressure numbers. the motor was pulled for a ls swap. All new gaskets installed painted just a light refresh. Comes with trannys and t case.So what are they asking for it? Has it been compression check? dry/wet and what was the direct read oil pressure. Thanks

I would be suspicious of some selling that as a 2f.
I would definately want to see some numbers.
I’ll have to read up on the swap would he nice to have fuel injection for sure.Just my $0.02 I’ve got a 8/77 40 and I’ll be looking for a late model 2F from a 60 series or a 3FE if my motor lays an egg. I know the 3FE will be more work but having owned a 3FE swapped 40 it’s a great motor in a 40 and they are still out there to be found as guys LS swap their 62’s and 80’s.
It’s my understanding the F series motor will mount with minimum modification, you would keep and reuse your bellhousing, transmission and transfer case. If upgrading to a later model H41/42 and split case you’d need a later model bellhousing and would need a transmission crossmember.I’ll have to read up on the swap would he nice to have fuel injection for sure.

Unrelated I love your work on the 1FZ’s in the 80’s section. I’d definitely be interested in one of your motors if I managed to kill mine. Good luck with your 40, looks like a lot of work but you’ve got a pretty blank canvas that you can do what you want with.
