I know that cygnus white (012) was the OEM color code but what I've found on my top under two resprays and under the sealant covering the forward windshield frame upper trim rivets was completely different. The cygnus pain I dabbed on the respray bright white is nothing like the Ivory color found which looks to be original. Attached picture not what I have. Any ideas?

That doesn't look far from the 031 on my roof and wheels.
Hard to tell on a photo.
Take some to your paint shop and scan it - they usually need just a 10mm flake

If I remember correctly the fiberglass tops were gel coated, not painted. When my top and bezel needed a refresh, I just rattle canned them with 6 cans of Rust-Oleum fusion white. Slightly brighter than what OEM looks like but I wanted it to have the most contrast to the green body. This was nearly 4 years ago and it still looks good today.

What's the correct code for your roof? 033?

This was the roof for my '76 - the original Cygnus was under a repaint of blue, and under the Cygnus was the fiberglass gelcoat. At least for '76, the roof was painted and not raw gelcoat, as the steel rail and cap were painted after mating.

A dollop of wet Cygnus is by my finger, and it dried pretty close to the old paint. (wet and dry are slightly different shades)
