Nice to see the weight swap so clean in the the motor bay..... 63 kWH fit well leaving and easy smaller battery enclosure to tuck up under the rear nicely for a 73 kWh FJ40......

whats the weight of that stack ? Is this the 40 using the Tesla motor ? How does the 73kwh compare to say a 2022 model y that had 300 mile range but is down to 280 ish ? I am illiterate on ev specs and I realize it depends on driving & application but is 73kwh giving what approx range given normal street driving ?

Will drive like a well powered easy to use newer vehicle.... Less tractor and more ease of use. "Motor Block" about 700lbs and replaces similar removed weight which is nice for maintaining OEM balance and weights and performance etc. Range for a heavy steel non aero brick vs a tesla 😭 ... 50% less efficient. Expect 1.5-2.0 miles per kWh. Fast Charging and regular usability that will be perfect for the family building this one. But a usable 1970 classicdaily driver with style and functionality! More to come on that soon enough! Thanks for inquiring...

Nothing cooler than a proper 40 angle pic.... And then the left turn........ 300 HP in a tiny transmission sized package. Custom T-case adapter to a Dana 300 matched with the TT Singel speed Gear Reduction Box makes for a clean solution... Pending a Tremec Gear box release in progress for EV drive unit.... :)

Vintage AIr interior FJ setup with out systems electric AC Compressor will make hthis build into a mobile Sub-Zero Freezer!! No joke how well the e-compressors work as they dont slow down when the motor slows RPM... Cools battery for DCFC as well.... added bonus.... Factory knobs for everything with some special twists as needed..... Dakota Digital is working a nice new Cluster for the EV needs......

Wow awesome work, fit/finish, attention to detail - top notch. Green not my favorite color.
Mine neither, although olive green is third behind white and desert beige

I like the color
