Just got back yesterday from a spectacular adventure delivering my daughter her new LC250 and picking up my 1998 100 series and driving it back from North Carolina 75% off road.

@WTFOVR is coming for a white glove inspection on Saturday so I needed to get some seat time in this thing so it blows up on me and not him

All systems are a go.

3100 RPM at 72 so this one is not built for speed. As you can see though, it runs 72 with just 25% throttle input. Very healthy.

Temps are a little higher on this truck but they mainly climbed when I got over 65 and faster. Never got too hot and when you slow down and start stop and go the system cools itself down.

Got home and let it idle about 15 minutes and it was down to 187.

All good. I’m going to go jump in the pool. I’m a sweaty mess.

Runnin hot has nothing to do with it being hotter than the Sun in MS…🤪. Just got to the sauna in Oxford and enjoying my first cocktail. At least the air is moving. 70mph is fine and it probably won’t see that often on backroads to the mountains and bee bopping around the asphalt jungle to and from the office which 2.5 miles from the house.
