Dream custom paint color for the 100?

I am eventually going to wrap mine as well, and I'm up all up in the bronzes/oranges when I'm ready.

You're right, it's much uglier in person lol.

Not sure why they even manufacture brown cars, let alone someone paying big money to get their cars painted doodoo brown.

Same logic can be applied to grey and tan. Why would anyone pay for a truck painted primer grey or skid-mark whitie-tightie?

VW's "doodoo brown" reminds me more of a deep mahogany. But prehaps that's the carpenter in me.

I owned a 2013 Rubicon in Anvil Grey. It's not metallic like the Cement Grey and it hides being dirty like a pro.

Leaning towards a grey variant- there's several out there that look good. On the dark side is Audi's Nimbus Grey. In the middle Toyota Cement Grey, and on the light side Porsche "Chalk".

I've been playing with the idea of wrapping mine in something closer to the Nimbus grey.

I didnt know we could suggest colors also...... Porsche has has some really good greys over the years, I don’t have a fav but check them out if your going grey......

I painted my 100 last year in Nardo Grey, with the roof in gloss black and Method race wheels in Midnight purple (Tough to see in this particular photo but does stand out when its nice and bright). Sadly the car is in the workshop for engine and transmission overhual. Cant wait to get her back.

I'm in the process of figuring out what to do with my 100 as well. It's the champagne color from factory, and I'm thinking of going with the 416 Dune Beige from the 40s. It's relatively close to the factory color so it won't look odd with the hood up etc as I don't plan on going that crazy with it. Just need to fix up the SoCal paint peel going on and having owned a bunch of 40s in the 1980s I'd like to get a bit nostalgic. Anyone have a pic of a dune beige 100?

Some of the colors you guys are posting up are great (Njacob) and I do like the Tuareg brown, but I don't think I'd like it long term. Same with the Volvo copper and 911 green. Great colors, but I think they would be a turn-off long term.

I think Volvo Saffron on a hundy would be pretty BA. And not just because I'm also a Volvo nut…I think it's a sweet color.

My LX is kind of similar to that right now just less orange. I know some people hate on plasti-dip but I have fun with new colors from time to time. This is my “fall” color.
