First solo campjng trip and first real hike.
11 miles in linville gorge and I’d have to say she faired better than I did lol.

Bodhi and June at about 12,000ft. They both summited Grays Peak at just under 14,300ft a few hours later.
Bodhi, the black one, is a Navajo Rez dog I found hiking in northern Arizona in 2020. Named after Patrick Swazye’s character in Point Break.
June is a breeder surrender from Missouri that had a really bad start in life. Shes named after June Carter Cash.

It's 5 degrees F, and I am torturing my dog again. Not my fault she has no fur to speak of. We did enjoy our walk, tho.

Gypsy WAS my son’s dog until reality hit he wasn’t mature enough for owning a dog. Original intent was to give her find good home for her with friends.
After few months she has grown on us and has bonded well with other dogs on the farm.

Now she is part of the family for the long haul!

Monday morning 5Feb24 i said goodbye to my Karma in my arms. 14yrs of adventure and an emptiness and shattered heart that will take a lifetime to repair. She saved me more times then i can count. Made me laugh, made me cry and was always there for me. Loved by many. She will be greatly missed. Thank you!! You were one special girl

So I just made myself at home wherever it is; normally he sleeps on the sofa, but the pouffe was much better - the coffee table is so that he still has his bed when he knocks it off at night, otherwise he tries to dig a hole in the sofa...
