Here’s and update on the “ I AM NOT GETTING ANOTHER DOG”
They all get along like grade school friends. The golden, who was seriously depressed, has come to life and engages with both of them all the time. The puppy is a baby shark in disguise. I don’t think we can take any more bites

I was told the blue pit didn't like men. She barked and growled at me from her kennel, but decided that I was ok after getting a free couch. Her puppy is afraid of her shadow, but we are going to work on that.
Keeping an eye out for those pesky squirrels

Just chilling after playing with a puppy.
Did a rescue last month I wasn't able to talk about until now. Hate to be negative, but some people don't deserve dogs.
I have two of those dogs as fosters now.

Please tell me you strangled whoever was responsible for that. Unbelievable
13 charges of animal abuse was the best we could do. Those dogs were in there for months, at least.
Man that’s heartbreaking. Glad you were able to do something at least. And looks like a kids toy there too, so probably passing on their animal abuse ways to their offspring. Damn shame.
I wasn't going to go into the details, but it makes me so angry I can't contain it.
The mama dog that I'm fostering is the blue dog in that picture. She had two litters of her own puppies living in there. One litter was 11 months and the other was however long it took her to get bred again. Neither litter has ever been out of the crate, as far as we can tell.
Despite that, they are good dogs. Much better than we deserve. The puppy we have is randomly afraid of everything. Not a surprise.

Pups love hunting season.
Charley, our blue staffy celebrated his 2 year anniversary of his gotcha day.
We did all his favorite things. A car ride, reuniting with his rescuer a hot dog, a pup cup and a good water fight. Only thing missing was fireworks, but since all the other normal dogs hate them, we declined to set some off for him
