Sharing our leaf spring options here, as we've had a few people ask this week about what we offer for the FJ40's. We are stocking this in the USA too, in Miami FL

We still make the small and large eye leaf springs, so for those looking to restore or reuse OE shackles, or maintain the original smaller 25mm eyes, we have springs for those, as well as the later model 35mm eye sizes.

A couple of quick points:
1. Our leaf springs can be used with stock bushings and stock shackles, so you don't have to use our bushings if you don't want to.
2. Our poly bushings can fit into stock leaf springs.
3. Our shackles and pins can be used to replace stock ones if desired.
4. Accessory load has to be strongly considered before ordering leaf springs to make sure the correct parts are ordered, and that the ride quality and lift height will be correct once installed.

This is kind of an old thread but I just got this lift and while it looks and drives great, the cruiser is leaning really big now. Over 1.5 inches there are 2 different numbers on the springs. Could these be different spring models?

Thanks
Jack

Here is my ‘40, with 33” tires. Does Dobson make a spring/shackle kit to maintain this height? Light load; always has hard top on, but no winch or excessive cargo load. Looking for a softer ride than my ancient OME’s I put on 20 years ago. Would love to flatten out that rear sag too.

Do you know what height it is?

Dobinsons is right about 2" lift with the shackles on a 35mm spring eye setup.

You have a front shackles reversal , this lift the front 1.5"
You will need longer rear shackles to make it level with the new springs

Assuming no issues running this kit on a 1977 FJ45 or one of your IMS kits?
