I'm *really* intrigued by these for my old worn out 40. The CCOT springs the PO put on are waaaay too stiff. Might have to drive over the hill and see @orangefj45 this summer

Please read my review of the TT parabolics I installed on my 40 here. I'm about to install them on our HZJ75 as well. Highly recommended.

Are the bushings sold separately from kit ? I hate poly bushings ( rock hard) and the oem ones squirt out pretty quick, would likle to try a set of these.

Excellent write up. I’m very intrigued and thinking about giving these a shot over my OME’s but I highly despise yellow shocks.

I don’t think my OCD would even let me deal with painting these black with a rattle can.

How do you think Bilsteins or even the IMS shocks would pair with this setup?

I would do IMS and these springs for the ultimate pairing.

On parabolics Anyyone worries about hitting point ? stick rock getting in between I m very rought with my 35 old swb70 I m tingled by the idea but really worry about that

Also can we get a better pic of the shackle angles front and rear?

I know your love for Dobinson, but the rear springs I bought are way too short in length, so I have not installed them. These may be a better option?

Having had terrain tamer parabolics on my Hilux for about 5 years now I have a couple of things worth noting.

First is that the slipper pads on the ends of the leaf can fall out during high articulation as the pack actually separates.
The solution I found was to use a very short screw to secure a mudflap washer to the back of it through the locator.

Second issue was the retainers contacting the chassis through some whoops. They got attacked with a grinder to fix that issue.

That aside, they ride amazing and have been excellent quality!

I doubt the 70 will have the big overload spring. The 40 I just installed does not have them.

Easy install.

As you can see, it has a perfect stance. No lean.

Rides fantastic. I could immediately tell the difference in how smooth it rides

Does it seem like the rear tires sit more forward than with the stock springs? I had to push my rear axle forward about an inch.

People do that thing where they center the axle by redrilling the pack and perch because they like the way it looks.

Suspension manufacturers put them to the front of the wheel well because when you flex out the spring and put it at full stuff it will be in the center where it belongs.

They are correct for this type spring. I'll flex or out tomorow and show where the shackle and axle land for you
