Where are you from? I drive all my similar built vehicles all over. This is pretty mild actually.Where could a vehicle built like that be legally driven? Mongolia? I don’t think it’s highway legal in the USA. Guess it would need to be towed to an off-road location.
Where was the NSFW warning??We have some big plans for our 2024 lc250 FE once we receive it! What are your thoughts? Think it will make a good trail rig and compete with the bronco and jeep market? Ours should arrive soon and we are planning to give a crawler build a go and see how it handles trails like fordyce and rubicon! Excited to push the limits of this new platform!

Not going to do a rear tire mount? Love the build concept.
Can the 9.5 just be purchased from the GX and swapped into the LC? Prob too early to tell?
not sure where you are getting your info from, CA probably has the MOST modified vehicles in the US.Aside from commie kalifornia, you can drive a modified car legally……
No reason it couldn't with some minor effort.
I'm sorry but this is f'ing mental that the luxo unit has stronger running gear than the supposed off roader.
ground clearance, weight. If you're going to a 9.5 - why go for a 10.5 and never have a second thought about it?
The GX550 is equipped with the V6TT, the LC250 the IFM 4cyl Turbo. It’s my assumption they felt the bigger motor necessitated the larger rear diff. Part time variants of the chassis also have he bigger rear diff.
And also they aren't consistent. Same motor on the Tacoma and 4Runner get the larger diff.I get that Kurt but they neglected use case. Which one will see more drivetrain stress?

You know this - so I don't understand why you posted what you did above.
It's not the motor. It's not the use case. It's not the marketing.
If it's EPA, Toyota should tell us and we will write our Senate and House reps!
I get that Kurt but they neglected use case. Which one will see more drivetrain stress? They should have made them all the same and changed ratios if needed.
I totally agree, the lack of 9.5" is a noted mark for me. I was plenty vocal about that. Fingers crossed there is easy options in the future. There are some steering differences between the platforms I'm curious to learn more about too.
