I don't have them disassembled, I can when time permits though.@turbo8 Do you have one of the front OEM struts disassembled?
Need some measurements of the factory front coil spring.

Exploring aftermarket spring options for my LX570 while retaining AHC.
Thank you
Completely understand, and that would be awesome.I don't have them disassembled, I can when time permits though.
If your talking about my thread hijack, I can't remember if it was in the tundra swap thread or another, but a different member said he was working with someone for different springs and was waiting on them or something but I asked if he knew the factory rate, and said it was 230lbs. Where that came from, I don't know. But seems like it could be fairly accurate given the rest of the system.Spring rate would be a great nugget to have
As it's a CANbus architecture, there's a module somewhere simply relaying that information about the missing module it's expecting (maybe the instrument cluster module?) The PCM's (engine and trans) are likely the same between the LX/LC/Tundra 5.7 just from a parts production perspective.
Are the different computer modules amongst the systems the same between the LC and LX except for where the AHC stuff is concerned? If the other modules in the car share the same part numbers between LX and LC, new opportunities abound. New dash module that is a LC so it's programmed to be ignorant of the AHC ?
Vs 4runner
The Lexus should ride a lot better.
4runner is pretty harsh with the amount of lift it has.

It is CANBus. We have swapped a number of components between LC and LX without being able to get the codes not to show up. We have not swapped an instrument cluster but not really sure that is viable. We can't figure out what module is telling it to look for the AHC inputs. We need someone that can talk CANBus to work out what needs to be done.
I don't think you can snake them out. The lines appeared to be put in place before the body was dropped onto the frame. Will you be able to snake the hard lines out without destroying them? Could be good info in the event someone needs to change on in the future.
