This past summer when I was getting my '70 back up and running I had a similar issue. I had Mark rebuild the carb. A mechanic did the remaining tune up work. I would get it back and it would run fine for a week or so then start cutting out. After a couple times back to the shop it was found the fuel pump was not working properly. Once replaced I haven't had a problem since. Not saying thats your issue but you haven't mentioned anything about it recently. I recall you did some work with it before.

I thought it was the same thing, and i put a fresh new pump in and new fuel lines form the pump to the carb ( bent some steel )
Yeah i dunno whats the deal, sounds like a vacuum leak cuase the vacuum fluctuates even heat soaked occasionally for no reason when i restart it, but i can "rev" it out and it seems fine, the fuel site seems full, fxxxing weird s***, it is like it is working out air in the system, but the site glass is full.
It almost sounds like back pressure off the pipe combined with no fuel.
but if i am idling at a light and go for gas it seems like it does it sometimes ( not all the time )
sometimes the idle will start getting weird and the vacuum fluctuates, then i can rev it out.
Happens sometimes too at certain low rpms ( sounds liek no fuel )
It has to be something simple.
maybe it is as simple as something in the tank lines from the pump to the tank, but why would it do it with the site glass full?
