I just took mine off because it was barely hanging on. I might be able to get a decent measurement or two out of it. Just let me know.

Also, thanks for taking the project on. I will be first in line when its avail.
Awesome! Thank you. Looking for an overall length. Or neck dimensions. I kinda guessed by eyeballing a pic of the NOS one. I think I’m close but would love a reference point :)

Length from top to bottom is 39mm. Mine is pretty jacked up to get any other good measurements, unfortunately.

Column shifter bushing and red Koito reflector restock arrived! :bounce2: Keep those early rigs looking fresh and shifting tight.

Boot update! Some refinements on a second round of prototypes. These are just about ready for prime time.

We had mentioned a wiper terminal cover for the early overhead wipers, but we scrubbed that project. @andybudge is going to be producing those soon!

Very cool new repair manual up on the site today for free download! @CruiserTrash sent this to us for scanning and hosting. Big thanks to him for sharing this great book!! It has a few other Toyota carb variants of the era, not just cruiser ones. We are not sure on the exact date of publication, but it looks to be post 1969 and pre 1975. The link on the page for this manual is in the 40 series section and at the bottom in the "general" docs area. We hope this is helpful for any carb rebuilders out there. Have a great rest of the week.

Just my 2cents @KennyBob. What Chase is offering are awesome Koito reflectors. I put them on my ‘63 “functional” resto. Was that what was on it when it rolled off the ship from Japan? Probably nothing of this sort was on it, as whatever was available was put on by US dock workers to meet US requirements when they rolled these into the US shipyards. At some point in time maybe they were added at the factories in Japan. There are two basic footprints for these, one with a center threaded stud and the ones like Chase offers with the two side holes for separate bolt/nut mounting. Hit or miss for your rig which was/should be on there. If original holes exist that will tell you for originality sake. In either case, Chase’s are top quality.

Yeah sometimes finding the mounting holes can be hard if the truck has been repainted. Mine has and I have to find them again.

Early rigs had these put on at their port of entry I believe. I have seen a mix of Koito and domestic reflectors used. They can be body colored in the case of the Koito reflectors. Late 60s models went to the stud mounted ones, I believe 68/69 and then of course they went to electric lights in the 70s.

Stanley is a Japanese company. They manufacture lights, reflectors etc. for many Japanese cars and motorcycles. The Toyota Driver Kit features Stanley bulbs.

Super funny. I never really dived into Stanley Electric as its own unique unit. The Stanley name is so engrained in my mind as a US company (tools). :) We have one of those bulbs kits on hand. I assumed it was a licensed product. Like the tie ups between Koito and Denso with Bosch and Phillips.
Ours has no Stanley on it:

For those of you downloading this for the F Engine carb, print to PDF pages 1-61 and 429-568 for general and F-Engine Specific info (protected PDF so you can't just delete the unwanted pages from the file). Pages 62-428 cover other models of carburetors and I didn't feel like printing all of those pages out unnecessarily and wasting a bunch of paper and ink. This is a rad resource, thanks to @CruiserCult and James McGowan @CruiserTrash !

Definitely some extraneous info in there for Cruiser folks, thanks for letting everyone know the page numbers!
