we have just been involved with a vehicle here running 80 series running gear, manual box, and chassis, 75 series tray body, with custom 4 link front and a frome rear, but cruiser rear diff, and front axles swivels etc, but nissan patrol centre, which is making 440kw [600hp]and 1000nm [740 ft lbs] @ the rear wheels running 35's and the drive train is holding up very well.

We dont get the duramax here, which is what I have been wanting to fit to my current vehicle.

6x6?

5th wheel hitch thingy?

That is one crazy 100. I can't wait to see it.

For some reason, I am not able to upload the picture but there are two images of 6x6 vehicles on the door. The top image looks like an SUV and the bottom pic is a profile of a 6x6 with a bed. The truck in the pic has a short nose which would be consistent with a 100.

I can email the pic is somebody would like to take a stab at posting.

would be nice to know the bottom line on the diesel engine swap's practicality, , and $$

nice job!

6x6 craziness!!!!

  drool...

The vague, unrecognizable pictures are part of the fun. Once he shines it up I bet he'll have some good ones. We took it out last night. FUN.

WHY

the reason this was built is because my dodge broke down too many times and when on vacation I need a place for warm dry luggage, a pickup truck has no such place with kids in back and a land cruiser cant pull a gooseneck trailer. Anyone who has pulled big trailers knows goosenecks are the only way to go- pull smooth and never get fish tailing. Now I have room for 4 adults front and luggage in rear enclosed cargo, and my (wife's damn) dog in pickup bed as well as gooseneck hitch to pull 35 foot trailer with 2 buggies or cruisers!! (I built the entire thing just for her dog if she asks)

You flat out know how to tailor a vehicle to your needs Alan! I see remote reservoir billies on that t-bar right?

I want to see pics of that beast when it is hooked to the gooseneck or fifth wheel!
