Looking for info on what the correct Toyota installed center caps were for a 1982 US Spec FJ40 with the white FJ60 wagon wheels.

Were the rear caps the "TOYOTA" black/gold ones, or the black/gold "T" logo?
Did the spare get a center cap?
Were the front hub sleeves in black or in polished finish?

I have seen a few different configurations on what appear to be very original trucks.

Thanks!

I went with the former based upon the advice of a well known restorer.

I put the stock silver / black ones on my '76 with OE steel wheels, they are what was stock on it when I got it. I've not seen a gold variety of hubcap but I'm no expert on it.

in the '82 brochure you *might* be able to make an argument for black front hub sleeves... either that or nothing. They conveniently cropped the rear tire and spare from the photos.

Thanks All for the feedback so far.

To clarify, these are the wheels I am referring to below. They were fitted to the later year 40 series LC. Also a couple photos of the center caps.

My 82 fj40 had the T logo caps, not sure if they were original. I think the toyota was later on mini trucks and fj60’s. No actual data to back this up though.

These are on the back of my 79 fj40, they came from a 60 series
