BTW, Pat ( @landcruisnman ) shows up with this shirt pictured (second down in the above post) and doesn’t remember who he got it through. Does it ring a bell with anyone??

Iron Pig Preservation Society (!)😃
I have one of those shirts as well, but too old to remember who made them. I always thought it was a great design, maybe back in a thread somewhere around 2017?

Great trip! Thanks again to John @4Cruisers for excellent trail finding!
The pig ran flawlessly up to a quarter mile from my house and then suddenly died at the intersection after getting off the highway. Fuel lines were hot, so I'm guessing I was pushing vapor rather than fuel at that point. Poured some water on the fuel lines and let it sit for about 20 minutes. It fired up and ran fine afterwards. That's one of the disadvantages of running an external fuel pump. I'm putting my order in now for one of @RUSH55 's long range tanks.

Looks like another fine swine partay!

It's awesome seeing y'all together enjoying each others company making memories.. would love to be a part of that one day..

Great pics!! Last years pics are part of the reason we dove into the pig pen, next year will be here before you know it.

Regarding the potential vapor lock does wrapping the exposed lines to protect from heat? Internal fuel pump help your issues as I’m was leaning towards set up like yours.

Thanks again for sharing your adventure!

It ain't over! We're up in Silverton, CO. and my transfer case was stuck in low coming down into Silverton from the Alpine Loop. Craig, Gordon and I are spending the night after one of the best days I've had. Craig figured a work around and got us going, pictures to come later. I'm drinking some beer thanks to Rush I've a case of Bud in the cooler. Talk at you tomorrow.

What an adventure. Oil leak, clutch went out, front driveline broke off at pinion and blow a tire on way home today….

So Mike and I just LIMPED back into Albuquerque after a mud soak at Ojo Caliente on the way. Fought over heating as we got down into the 95 degree high desert. Power steering not working. Alternator only putting out 11.5 amps so battery was weaker each time we started (had my battery backup that saved us) on the side of the road).

Scariest part was 1 mile from our pull off of I25 and 3 miles from home, my rear drive shaft shook loose! Wild, big, vibrations all the sudden. Got under there and it was hanging on by 1 loose bolt! Yikes! I noticed a slight vibration at higher speed down from Santa Fe but didn't think much of it. In hindsight, shoulda looked under there asap! Luckily the heat kept us at a slow pace. Drive shaft bolts must have shook loose from all that banging around yesterday I suppose.

Took the rear shaft off, went into 4H and limped the final 3 miles (after she stopped the steam blow out toe overflow tube. What a day!!!!! What a trip!
Almost as intense as last night's Pig Roast 22! Thanks Kay. #OOOOHHHH-KAAAYYYYY!!! Haven't heard anyone called a buttfu$% in a few years, but I do get called an a$$ho!# on the regular, so I got that going for me!

Thanks to so many of you for all the effort! Never would have made it there without you. Amazing to put faces and names to the screen names. Amazing to see so many pigs in one place too. Great to get to know ALMOST everybody there ...OOOOHHHH KAAAYYYY.....too soon? Never!

Got some pics I'll get up later. Safe travels everyone and thanks again to all! #blueleader
