I started a new thread for installation guidance and information. Feel free to contribute. I thought it might be easier to find and have less info to wade through to get to the installation details than this thread.

Anyone with the Versa Box option get a handle to hold it closed? Curious what it looks like as I didn't find one in my package, no hardware at all, and need to source something. Attempts to contact Alu-Innovations have been fruitless.

Has anyone mounted any awnings to their pop-top yet? We had two on the roof rack, a Joolca ensuite and a Ironman 270, that I would like to mount to the pop top. Much harder than I expected finding brackets that will work.

Cassiem sells brackets, unsure if off the shelf brackets will work.

OK4WD sells the alucab brackets that SHOULD work (do some research), both LHS and RHS for 270 awnings and a bracket set for ensuites. Mounting intructions are shown under the resource tab.

270* RHS:

Ensuite/shower cube:

Also, if you can reach them, Mission 4x4 in Australia makes a nice set for the alu-innovations top

Love the Xplore Glazing wing gulls!

I also have no idea what that is for.

Looking at the website it MAY be used for the side of the vehicle to put the maxtrax table into that runner.

You're not an idiot, I couldn't figure it out at first either.

Pretty sure they're for the Maxx Trax table.

I haven't put mine on yet, it's next on the list though. They're way too long and I plan to cut mine down.

I didn't get any hardware to mount it or channel nuts to attach the table to the channel. I've sourced some, just need to get time to install.

So I got this table mounted...looking at the above pdf snapshot. I'm missing the latches and hinged bracket that secures the maxtrax as well. Anyone else order this accessory and if so, did you get these items? Repeated emails to Alu-innovations have gone unanswered.

I don't have those either. I do have the pins that stick out like yours inside the storage area of the table, believe that is the locking mechanism.

That table looks like the mission4x4 one in the video. Mine doesn't have any of those extra bits.

The one I marked up above is from Alu-Innovations, not Mission 4x4. The pins on the end won't keep the tracks secure in the table, they just hold one end.

I sent another email to Cassiem, he's not replied or acknowledged the last 3 or 4 that I've sent, but figured I'd try. I'll most likely have to make my own bracket as well as source some latches as the toggle bolts hold the table closed okay, but with no tension, so there's some rattling when the engine is running.

We mounted this thing a little bit differently. Used some stainless hardware and thru bolted through the body. Didn't use the top rail. I may use the top rail on the other side. Not sure yet. Don't have the correct traction boards either. Waiting on them to see how they'll fit.

From my research, this table (at least the one I received) is too small for standard MaxTrax. On the bright side, it does work as a table. I think in order to fit standard size/brand name tracks, it will need to be modified considerably.

I modeled it up real quick (found a 3D model of the tracks on GrabCad, did not verify the dims, except to check the MaxTrax site for overall width and height), not done, but here's a snapshot of how they'll fit... about an inch off in height and 3.75 too short.

I'm going to borrow a set of tracks from a friend and verify fitment later.

You are correct. Same with TredPro's. The 41" Amazon special works based on the dimensions I found.
BIG RED Torin Off-Road Traction Boards, Recovery Tracks, and Traction Mat Set: Ideal for Snow, Mud and Sand Rescue. https://a.co/d/arCVwmD

Looking forward to seeing if those Amazon specials fit, reviews I've read say they're not up to the task and UV might not be their friend.

Do you have awning brackets on both sides?

I like the sticker, I've got a similar one 'Max Speed 70'

I'll let you know how they work out. I may cut out the table and do a little fab work myself. Only time will tell.

Yes, brackets on both sides of the truck.

I'll let you know how they work out.

Did you get the new tracks yet? If so, how do they fit? Looks like even if they do fit, we'll need to add something to hold them in on the left end?

So I went with the 40" option instead of 41". They're a little loose on the front. I'm going to rig up something through the metal that I can just rotate to lock them in.
