Very nice!

A little elbow grease looks like an understatement!

How did those add-a-leaves settle in? Did the ride height come down and flex improve over time?

Noah,

Nice work!... There's noting like a new coat of paint and there's nothing better than the 1st scratch...

Best,

Jeff

Had a chance to see this thing over at landcruisnman's shop yesterday, and it looked even better in person. You can see how all the prep and attention to detail made a huge difference in how well it turned out. Looked really good. Nicely done Noah.

thanks guys, to be fair it's a 10 footer paint job, so it looks alot better from afar than up close, but I am happy with it, the add a leafs did settle a bit, I think it helped that they were the long ones and not the short ones, the stock springs quickly became inverted once I flexed them a bit after the initial SOA so something had to be done, it is a bit bumpy on the road, but whatever......

nice Noah, lookin good. Hope all is well out in Cali. Hope you haven't gotten rid of any of the toys yet.

Matt

Looks good from Idaho! :grinpimp:

looks great, and besides if you make it too pretty, we might think you dont use it . great job.

Looking great! what did you use to remove the paint and what did you powder coat? Another kool feather in your cap! ty

Oh yeah, had some good luck today, got the optima shipped here from amazon, well UPS dropped it and it has a crack in it, but from what I can tell it is still good. Of course I told amazon I wanted to return it to get a good one, and they shipped me a new one and told me to dispose of that one. Seems that they can't take them back when they are damaged. Sooooooo, I am charging it now in the garage, if it doesn't blow up in the middle of the night, I plan to use it in the 80 and do an el cheapo dual batt setup. Score!

Noah,

Thinking of bringing my 40 into Earl. I noticed you took off the headlights, grill, etc. What else did you take off in preparation for the paint job?

for the most part I took off everything besides the body panels. The hood was loose with a strap holding it on and the windshield was loose and able for them to pull, they did not end up pulling the windshield. I also pulled the rear doors and all the little parts and they sprayed them seperate.
