The bonus of the rear soft doors is full access to the rear area

This is outstanding.

How does the area along the bottom between the two vertical zippers stay secured to the tub? Yours looks very tight compared to the previous poster above

Can the top portion of the ambulance doors be removed at all? Easily?

Is that tray system an aussie aftermarket offering, or something you built for yourself? That system looks great!!!

I was curious about the drawers too.

i would love to know the install tricks that can get the soft top looking that tight. i keep the sides and back mainly rolled up so it does not bother me, but only installed a few snaps on the sides because getting it to stay tight like that seemed like a losing battle
I found that with fitment adjustment of the bows you can really tailor the tightness of the top. The factory bows bolt together and allow for a bit of movement. The removable middle bow really takes slack out and was adjusted low then lifted higher after top fitment. Once the main top was secured with the straps at the rear and was level with the body line I fit the middle turnbuckle along the side ensuring the top was in line with the body line. Fit the remaining turnbuckles (3 per side total) and adjust middle bow if required.
Prior to fitment I left the top in the sun to make sure it was nice and soft. This was especially important with rear door fabric to ensure tight fitment.
I hope that helps a little .

I did notice a difference with the front mounting on yours being snaps in the front corners and mine is an eyelet so it bolts on in the corners. Probably makes no difference but maybe are tops are a bit different even though but from same vendor.

The top is secured with 3 factory style turnbuckles in widow area and one in the area directly behind main doors

The rear door fabric section can be removed but not easily. Fabric is secured to door section with bolts which can be seen in previous picture. Then frame needs to be unbolted from lower door with 4 bolts. And finally upper door hinge bolts need to be removed. Not a quick job and I never plan to run without. Driving down freeway with sides rolled up there is no flapping or movement on the rear door fabric which I'm not sure you could do with roll up window?

The drawer system was my own design to best utilise all the space in the rear without seating back there. Plywood glued and screwed, covered with carpet, mdf drawer fronts and bolted down using factory holes from seating and seat belts. Wheel wells also covered with carpeted ply and bolted down to existing factory holes so whole area is one even level

Top notch work all around with the top and the drawer system. Thanks for the reply.

Hello,
Currently on eBay these guys have listed a Oem style soft top and factory bow set with free world wide shipping.
In Australia I have zero options for these parts and the offer of free shipping puts makes it somewhat attractive plus the top looks very nicely made in the pics.
Has anyone ordered or know of the quality of the top and bows from these people? I have read about the body panels but there is no info on the tops.
Is there any other options for me I'm not familiar with that can supply to this part of the world?
I currently have a Bestop Softop but would prefer the factory looking soft top instead. As a reference the Bestop currently sells here for $1700.

Cheers for any inf

My TROA top should be arriving today, 4 weeks from order to delivery like others have stated. I’ll update with pictures once I get it installed.

Any recommendations once out of the box? I’ve heard people leave it out in the sun…

Thanks.

I like to rub a paraffin candle over the zipper: lubrication and water resistance in one.

Top received and initially installed. Need to do the twist locks, but overall really satisfied.

Greetings, also would like to know if the kit comes with the b-pillars. @Stormsd or @KingAir Driver, did you already have the b-pillars or did some come with the kit? Thanks
@Guster , I only ordered the canvas top itself. I already had B pillars. I'd say, ask the seller a question on Ebay.

I had also emailed TROA and I'm a bit confused because this is their reply, "This b-pillars are not included with the frame kit... the elements included are shown in this image".

The arrows are pointing to the B pillars, correct?

My frame kit came with the b-pillars and everything painted black. That was over a year ago so if no longer included that is something new. I did the frame and top from them.

Thanks, I'm pretty sure the kit still comes with the b-pillars, just some confusion on their side on what I was asking. How are you liking the top?

Looks good mate.
However, I cannot tell if it is a match for the tops made in the USA (eg. Specter, Julie etc).

I think KingAir above already had bows and just ordered a top so I'm assuming the TROA bows would work with other tops but, idk. TROA quoted $3k for the bows (already powder coated black), top and extra top material for soft top doors. I'm going to check the wait time for a top from Dirt Road Tops and then decide.
