Nice! That's the same stuff I use in my Sub.

TroutBear said:Not to take issue w/ anyone who prefers the synthetics and lighter vis minerals - but we run Castrol 20-50 in all vehicles, gas and diesels. 230K plus on a couple of those, one gas, one dsl. Location certainly plays into this - Deep South winters don't pose an issue w/ this oil. The newly aquired LC is getting a diet of the same w/ 3K max change intervals.

There is a Mobil 1® Turbo Diesel Truck 5W-40, I don't know if it is acceptable for gas engines.

Rotella T Synthetic 5w-40 (Blue Bottle)
Rotella T 15w-40 (White bottle)
You want the blue bottle pictured below.

So Rotella sythetic. I also have the Delo 400 on the self. I guess I'll keep using the Rotella for the Sub and use the Delo for the Cruiser.
cary said:Just to note, given you are in San Diego, the 15w-40 is fine, just don't push it much past 6,000 miles per change.
LandCrusher'70 said:I try to change it every 3k. Usually don't go too far past that. I put 10w-40 NAPA (Gold blend, I think) in last time. Haven't heard anyone mention NAPA oil.
