Do they ship to Cali?
Not directly but we have sent a few over to the US. A few things to be aware of, especially for California but for any US Market truck:
1) They have no provision for EGR, AU market trucks don't have it
2) They have no cat converters, AU market trucks don't have them.
3) They have provision for only one 02 sensor - AU market trucks had one for 92-94 and 95 onwards had none.

Rather than start a new post i thought i would bump as im currently in this same boat.
I need a new exhaust.
The exhaust on my 96 was partially replaced about 15 years ago with boasl parts and does not look too bad.
My y pipe, however, is original and I just found a hole in the crux the y. I have been hearing the exhaust leak for some time but i could not place it until I put my hand near the crux when it was running to warm my hands. I could immediately feel exhaust coming through a hole. Im also throwing codes p0124 p0135. Which is all related. Im gonna see if my buddie can't mig the ypipe hole this weekend. Ive got new denso o2 sensors and a spark plug fowler on the way to help with that issue as well.
I might be doing do this in stages im not sure yet.
My first step is to replace the (mid) y pipe.
As for y pipes, im leaning toward the Magnaflow 23120 with one cat tieing into the (magnaflow)BRE exhaust kit. It looks to be a simple and strait forward replacment for what I need opening up the system to 2.5" from the manifold back.

Then i found some threads about oem fj105 y pipes that are tucked in between the frame rails.
I am tempted to go this route simply because I can get the 105 y pipe shipped from the middle east for a little cheaper than the magnaflow at this time. Then I can either tie it into the previously mentioned bre cat back kit or work on tucked in over the frame rail exhaust. I must say a tucked in exhaust following OTRAMMs kit would be ideal in the long run.
I've also checked out the cxracing headers and ypipe.
I live in northern NM emissions are not a thing to worry about here.

Im open to suggestions or ideas on how to approach this. If there is a good mud thread that I missed please let me know of it.
The 105 y pipe idea is alive but I have not seen any pictures/videos of one installed and running in a 80 so im leaning towards the Magnaflow.
I hope this all makes since. :)

Thanks fellows
E

Take a look here, if you haven't already. You local muffler may be suffienct and less headache for the same or cheaper:

Specifically pmccumber's video of his exhaust on the second to last post may be of interest to you done by a local muffler shop.

Not sure if you have a local group you can get a quality recommendation from, but some quality functional work can be had. May not be show car spec, but most of these rigs aren't show cars and I wouldn't lump the MF bolt on stuff as show car anyway. The 105 headers also introduce the EGR into the mix as well.

We have some guys from NM and Southern Colorado in our Colorado TLCA club forum at Rising Sun 4WD Club Forum - https://risingsun4x4club.org/xf/ that may have some local recs for you too if you wanna make a post.
