Wish Billy could have made it to identify "that guy". We all had our best guess but there were several good contenders :D

Was a weak showing and thats not even getting to the live ... um... band haha

Lots of bmw and porsche folks and some nice cars but not the numbers or diversity of the GSO show.
Rice put it best. "just not a lot of cars that make you want to take a picture here" including a nice lineup of stockers lol But a good show and everyone was cordial, didnt feel any pressure even when rice was first to take the open field and we followed suit..... actually i think the cruisers were quite well appreciated. I was still waiting for him to do donuts though.

Now the slammed suicide sled rat rod was something else though.

I'm digging the yellow TR6 with the residential light switch activated overdrive. Pretty typical of what you find if you dig into an old British car. Lamp wires and house switches to keep the prince of darkness (AKA Lucas) at bay.

As a side note, the lack of a transmission tunnel is not a big surprise either. The original tunnel was made of cardboard. All it really did was keep your shirt sleeve from getting wrapped around the driveshaft.

Not having a tunnel sure adds to the list of places not to put your finger.

@jfz80 Is that a fight or a mating ritual you captured in the first pic?

I'm not sure what's really going on there but ya made me look. Twice.

But there was some classic photobombing going on on the poor girl who chose c n c as the sight of the low budget wedding photography stage.

Not much more to add .... just some pics. We did run into some nice folks so we clearly missed finding the organizer. For reasons unclear the cruisers were most popular with the 60-something ladies.

My overall snooty impression? Having 4 cruisers there was a definite boost to the clientele.

My only complaint? Holy creepers that was some awful vocal work by their "for hire" singer. Poor Janis Joplin was rolling in her grave. Ford, Chevy, Rice burner, Yugo ... good gawd anyone .... please light off the motor so we dont have to listen to that other krap.

First picture batch ... random.

For the record ... not running on pump gas.

Whew. Thank goodness Lucas electronics didn't also make the 1911!

Picture batch # 2 ... including a couple that left us wondering what the entrance criteria was. A bone stock charger and a worn out miata appear to make the cut. So next month I think I'll just take the 4Runner.

Jason suggested one that says "attach Jeep here". Fundraiser anyone?

I confess, I just don't get it. I appreciate a nice build .... I just don't get it.

Jason had to spy the driver climbing into this thing. Apparently he was some former Cirque du Soleil contortionist.

Man, since I started this thread, I wish I could have made it. I had to work OT on Saturday and couldn't get out of it.
I so wanted to be there. This is the first chance I've had to sit down at the computer in a while. Glad it went down smooth.
I want to make another triad event sometime. You guys rock!
