If some ass hat says anything again about keeping it to european classics i'd get in his face (unfortunately I work so I can't go)
I actually talked to the guys who host the charlotte cars and coffee about that last week. They've heard things like that from this cars and coffee event before.
Foreign Cars Italia is the dealer that puts the show on here. They show up always with cars ranging from 100-500k regularly (not some BMW's) I'm talking about ferrari's, lambo's, aston martins, etc.... every once in a while they will bring something really special, an Enzo, a F40, a Saleen S7 a Mosler, even a 348 GTO made it there once (not to belittle bmw's at all but a bmw dealer can in no way bring the same type of cars that they do). At the same time they pay for all the coffee, soda, cinamon buns, bagels, etc... for everyone. They don't car if you bring a riced out 87 honda civic with a chalk board hood (i've seen it there before) or a giant K5 mud truck. They are just happy everyone has fun and that a bunch of gear heads from all walks are getting together.
I'd let the bmw guy know of that if he says anything.

I am disappointed ... I figured it would be a LS9
So the Greensboro Cars and Coffee starts around 8AM - and if you show up around 9 you probably won't get a spot. Haven't been to the Winston one - is it a similar experience? Says it starts at 9 - should we plan to be there slightly before it to get a prime spot? And assuming I"m there first - how many spots do I save?
I've not been to the W-S event either but like the idea of getting there a little early and trying for some group parking, preferably in the spot the organizer usually parks his clunker.

As much as i wish to be mischievous about the whole affair, ultimately we are stewards of ONSC. The organizer of the event may be an a$$ of the first order but that isn't something i wish said of us. Current plan is to go, enjoy, be cordial, and perhaps show Mr. Uppercrust we're not such a bad lot.

What? This is completely unacceptable.
Wellll ... I have to admit we have gotten a few complaints from one of our neighbors. It seems that one of our cats jumps the fence and terrorizes their yappy dog chasing it all around their yard. I have seen this happen, but have not been fast enough with the iPhone to video it ...
