Look, if you can fit 33’s you should run 33’s.

Let’s be real… We don’t run these rigs for practicality! We run them because they’re badass and awesome and make our friends jealous. Would you rather run tires that MIGHT be up to the job? (31’s). Or would you rather run tires that can kick some ass and look good doing it? (33’s)

Run the bigger tires. You won’t regret it.

-Cheers!

33’s with stock gearing. The truck is on OME heavy front and rear with Bilstein shocks. I drove for 2,000 miles with the 235/75-15 that we’re on it.

It was definitely great off the line, but I live in Houston and I commute daily 20 miles one way on the freeway.

20,000 miles later on 33’s I have no regrets at all, but i don’t live near any steep grades. It did big bend with ease and cruised 800 miles there at 3,000 rpm without issue. I got to the hills of big bend and it also held its own. I was limited more by the speed limit than the engines power in gear.

If I lived in Colorado, I’d have 31’s.

I’ll be driving to CO after the summer, we will see how much I hate it then. I’ll have also upgraded to an h55f at that point, but I don’t expect that to change the hard part of the trip.

Just did the OME upgrade and put Generals 33x10.5 on. Looks great and although I notice a slight loss in acceleration, it rides so much better now with the suspension and tires I hardly recognize it and my wife will actually get in it now . I think the 33's looks perfect with the OME setup - I considered 31's and decided they would look small. This is not my daily driver; mostly weekends around town and trail rides.

I would do 31’s if I could do it again. Braking is impacted more than I thought by the 33’s.
Now I'm talking to myself, and in front of everyone. Five years later I replaced the tires with BFG 31's and am happy I did. Shifting makes more sense with the 31's and the brakes are better. The truck still looks good IMHO.

It’s nice to get through the intersection in 1st gear vs stock tires where a shift to 2nd halfway thru was required.

Eagerly awaiting my new 32s + Wheels....im prlly bias but i think its gnna look amazzzzzin!

For me 33's mine has a 2.5" lift mine is mostly HWY with a few trips to Colorado to run the logging roads. I don't notice anything wrong with the Braking or body roll or anything.
