Ah. That makes sense. I'd guess it came from Oz.
No I don't think so.

Oh! That's pretty sweet. Have you ever looked at air temps up/down of the exchanger? I have an intercooler on my SC'd Tacoma and I've just never drilled/tapped the intake for the temps. However, there are other folks that have and it makes a nice difference.

I haven't seen the need too. Normal Temps stay around 175°. I've seen 186° on a warm trail day, and ~195° is the hottest ever.

Few weeks ago I changed the oil but didn't have a washer for the drain plug. Thought I was slick and was just going to make it a little tighter. . Well that didn't work.

So gave that a quick fix. Also noticed that my valve cover is leaking.

and if it's not one thing, its another. Does anyone have a clue of what this noise might be before I start digging into it?

I think this is what I was hearing when I first pulled it out of storage a month ago. Now it's loud enough for me to believe it's coming from the passenger side. Wheel bearings? Birf? What are your thoughts?

U-joints or something rubbing on the driveshaft

Too fast to be axles or brakes

As the Assies say "your a legend " @BILT4ME. It was the front driveshaft.

While it was on the truck, I was able to move it and clunked around.

No personal experience, but from what I’ve read it’s time for a new shaft. Not sure how Deacon Blues feels about getting the shaft, but I think it’s all something that we’ve suffered through one time or another.
@landtank yes I do. I'm already running your in the rear. Might have to get the front soon.

I've been holding on to this Black Stone oil analysis for a while. It makes me feel like when people go to the hospital and find out they have a short time to live. . .I hope this isn't the case 🙏🏽

Black Stone Oil Analysis results.

Have a front here if you need. But non DC

Or I have a 60 shaft from Johnny with a dc joint if you’re having one built. But I’d guess you’d want to go new here. Ricks wouldn’t be a bad choice at all.

Thanks. I think due to my lift I'll need a DC. I'm not really driving it at the moment so I have the center diff locked just in case.

I've got a DC that I'm not going to use if you need one... It's from the tilton (sp) guy I think. I've got a part time kit so I can swap back in the regular shaft.

Just read through you thread, Great build and sweet rig !!

A MUD member that retro fitted his headlights suggested I get the M LED 2.0s instead of the D2Ss that everyone usually gets. This is a good and bad suggestion.

With the M LEDs, you have to cut a huge hole in the headlight bowl because it has a cooling fan connected to it. Then you'll have to set them in place with JB weld after aligning them correctly (I haven't got to the JB weld part yet). He didn't know this when suggesting them, he just saw that it was better and newer projector than the D2S.

Here's a sneak peek. Still need to paint, align, and JB weld.

Thank you!
I’m about to bake open some depos for mini d2s’s and am thinking about adding those.
How do they perform and do you recommend them? We’re they easy to Install or was trimming required?

Yes very easy and recommended. When adjusting them they shine in a focused area.

Looks like you opted for no shroud on it. Did one not fit in the light housing or did you just not want one.

Thanks!
