Anybody got a line on a 100 series in the Pac NW (AATLAS?)? In the market... for a bargain of course... We want to replace the wife's '03 MDX, with a 100 series and a cheap/fun commuter like a E30 BMW.

I looked for a year for a 80 that was acceptable in my eye and could not find one, we (work) had one, I drove it for a few days and that ruined me. I don't think I could ever buy a 80, its kinda like a 60 in my eyes as I love the 62. Make sense?

But yes Ill keep an eye out and I look everyday.

Ever drove a 100?

Stop by and drive mine any day.

Thanks.
Yes I've driven a 100 (see sig;))! We sold it and got the MDX, thinking it would get significantly better mpg, but it didn't. Now with three car seats, its time to get a 100 again (and keep it for a loong time). I lo ve the 100 series, so it is good my wife likes 'em, as I could never sell my 80, even if it isn't as practical as a 100. :)

My problem is that I used to be able to drive like a road racer and never could get it out my system. So the 100 works for me when I need the power it gets it on. the last 80 I drove gained momentum not speed.

I am looking at a 2000 LC that has been in Kansas all of its life. This is a picture of the undercarriage. Does this look like a problem?

I have been looking for an '03+ 100 but this '01 LX470 looks like a good deal. What do you think? 100,000 miles, granny driven, no Nav. (a good thing) and could probably be had for $16,000 or less.

disregard the post showing the undercarriage. Guy was not willing to budge at all.

I have a 2000 LC in my area that has 139K miles on it. Had it inspected this morning. Timing belt and water pump have not been changed. Also the wheel bearings need to be repacked. They mentioned it needed cv boot joint kit. Its close to 1700.00 worth of work. Owner's final price was 12,500.00. Should I take it at that and drop the 1700 in it or just keep looking?

Emailed 'em last night, going to see it now. Asking 11,998. 157k miles. Had timing belt at 114k at dealer, been a Portland area vehicle all its life.

Sent PM as well

I am 1 mile from them, and I would have a tech look at it for you if you would like.

First post here. Been lurking for a while and finally signed up. Decided to get rid of my pickup (2008 Sierra) and finally buy the landcruiser I've always wanted. Need to keep it around 15K to make sure I have money to dump into it. Found this one and was wondering what you guys thought. Thanks for all the info. This site is really great.

Looks really nice. How much are they asking?

Looks like a nice one! FYI: At 90K you will have the first major PM due: Timing belt, and typically related parts like water pump, idler pulleys, etc. You may be able to use this to your advantage on your front side negotiations with the dealer...

I just don't see how I can pass it up...the price is now $5000, or it goes to auction. If everything goes OK, I'll post pics tomorrow...without the bird****. :D

Did you buy it? Heck I may be interested. I'm in Southeastern NC.

I did buy it. I don't see many for sale here, period, so I couldn't pass it up. Funny thing is, now I want another one! :D

It's SC now, but I grew up in Wilmington.

Guess it was a good deal. The one I posted about above sold the same day it was listed. Found another almost exactly the same with 72,000, but they are asking 19750 (the dealer value for an excellent condition) for a private party sale. I emailed to see if they want to be reasonable.
