if my truck had the clean stock look, i'd want them BAD.

I like them alot, just not for my truck

I liek almost all about them.

my thoughts:
1. The cat protection is substantial, almost too much. hangs lower than necessary.
2. the height of the tube could be 2x and fill that fender cover at the front better. it will look more factory. (it will be 1" lower, but i think the hand off on the factory look would be nice)

i like it alot.

The photos are a little dark but from what I can see I like the stock look.

i like the stock look. looks good.

I like. I've wanted to immitate the stock look in functional sliders ever since I saw some on a rig owned by 82cruiser. Unfortunately, I think his old pics are mostly all gone.
Now please follow up with daytime pictures, estimated cost, and thoughts on the comments from post #3 (which I agree with).

It looks as the sliders are a bit short on the front and rear though. The stock ones fit under the mud flap moulding up front a bit more and the rear look shorter than the door moulding/flare. Other than that they look great!

BTW - You have a white 4Runner like my old one and a white 80 like mine. Good taste!

I really like them just for the fact that they keep the stock look. Just my personal taste, but I really like them. Plus, they can be had for quite a bit less than the competition. More pics on the way?

Like them!!!:D:D:D

Thanks for all the comments guys.

post 3: I made the cat protection as high as I could. I think the pictures do not show this very well. When I go up a steep hill and the engine torques the cats acctually rattle on the skid plate. It needs another 1/4" of clearance. I agree the thickness of the tube would make it look more stock but the price of the tube would make it way to expensive.

I could add a kick out to these slider very easy. If that is what you are looking for.

My prices are on my web site but these slider start at $600 for 2x6x1/8 square tube and are $680 for the 2x6x1/4 that are shown in the pics.

Thanks again for the comments and keep them coming.

Nice, clean look.

Have you tested them on some rocks? How well do they hold up?

looks really great.

Not sure why someone would think the cat protection hangs too low. Like you said, when the engine torques you need a little "wiggle" room. Plus, that spot is NOT the lowest part on the truck anyways.

I also don't see someone wanting to add kickout's to a slider that looks like a stock step?? Makes no sense to me, plus they already seem to be a pretty wide slider.

I like them a lot.

Looks good. I don't know about those clamp bolts. I have shattered my u-botls before. I guess it all depends on the use.

Those are exactly what I'm looking for! Awesome !

Are these available currently, and what's the cost?

I wonder if there's any deflection under point loading with the shorter vertical profile material?

(1" by ? box vs. 2x2 or tube)

Some good ole forklift pose photo's would be nice to see.

I dig these. I like the stock look and utility of the step, as my truck is a Salesman's daily driver. Time to start saving.

Very nice!

I visited your site. I have to say that I am quite fond of your work.

How much do your bumpers and sliders weigh?
