Hoping you can take a ton of pictures of your unmolested beauty and post them up. I and others are interested in seeing what was plated or painted, covered, etc. Love to know what the final price was for an almost original '65 fj45.

The trip was a great way to kick off 45 ownership, but I'm glad to be home.

Thanks for sharing, it was cool for all of us to track your journey with you and the pics along the way let us feel part of the experience. As you get rested, I look forward to hearing more details about the trip and the stories from the PO who owned for 45 years, that is a hell of a run. Also, looking forward to seeing pics as you lovingly restore, you have a great base to start with. Again, congrats on your 45 purchase.

There is nothing better than buying a 45 from the land of no rust!! Bought a 45 from the land of major rust( up north) and will never do that again. Sorry Varty, but you guys love salt!!

True story!!!^^^^ haha

My next 45 will be from way down south and preferably already restored

Ed bought this mountain piece of land and the Cruiser 45 years ago. He used the Toyota to haul all materials needed to build his home and workshop.

Ed is a craftsman, machinist and all-around awesome fellow.
