I'd love to take Bonnie to the football game in Stillwater today and let her redeem herself after our last trip. However, temps 99 degree's today and wife and I are going to sit in stadium in the ridiculous heat. Think some AC will be nice for wife and I after sitting in heat for 3 hours with 60,000 other folks.

My cowboys live duo to what we call the “poke choke”. Thats about all we did well at. Frustrating for sure, we got our coaches. I’m Loyal and True to my alma mater, but some days just make ya say WTH

Auburn isn’t doing much better. Way too many turnovers. I go to every home game but sometimes it really takes a toll on the soul. We did win tailgate of the game on Saturday though. Could have had something to do with this:

Bonnie’s mini truck PS box leaking pretty good now which I expected after sitting for awhile.
Previously rebuilt by West Texas off-road is it best juts to send back to them to reseal it?
I’m not familiar with any kits to reseal these or if there is option for me to address it.

Ordered couple of the same fuel pumps that Jim had purchased after getting the detailed records on Bonnie in the mail.
Tomorrow Bonnie going under the knife to replace the gas tank since it’s been modified by the Terra firma in the past.
Nice evening here, Kim and I took her to town, ran errands and ate some dinner. At cafe we stopped at there was really nice 60 series. (We’re talking small town, never seen it and there were only 2 cars there. Guy pretty stand offish, I tried making conversations after he complimented Bonnie then he said something about buying it and his previous car would do 0-60 in 3 seconds, no clue where that even came from and I basically just shut down and went inside. Not your typical cruiser junkie, and I could have cared less.
Sure love to visit with cruiser folks when ya see em, this fella didn’t fit the mold at all.

Kim did come up with great name for the 69 when we get it back and put it on Delancy’s 76 chassis.
We will be naming it Clyde, l know Bonnie and Clyde will be a nice pair.

Bonnie’s fuel tank transplant. Thinking of taking wire brush and cleaning up exterior than spraying with some rust oleum black paint for some added protection.
Also want to flush with the vinegar I’ve been recently reading about, can anyone share if that’s a diluted mix?
Jim had tank cleaned and pressure tested in past just want to make sure all is perfect before doing swap.
