Body and paint in SLC, UT

Looking for a "good" but cheap priced Body and Paint shop in SLC, UT. Also would be good if they can do some metal work.

Wasatch Body is the only place I know of, not cheap but excellent work. Not sure body and paint is something you want to cheap out on. That's what Maaco and Earl Schieb are for.

i will pimp unique auto body in, i think, midvale. VERY good work. not cheap as with wasatch, but i havent found quality body work is done cheap. unique is in the phone book.

I have had work done at Auto Body and Collision in Sandy. They do good work. They use the same quote and pricing system as Unique.

Also would be good if they can do some metal work

You mean like ornamental railings and such?

Something you guys might think about, find out who the better guys in the shop around you are, and ask them how much for if they want for doing some side work for you, I have done this twice and have paid FAR less, and very happy happy.. A good place to start for a good body and paint man.. look for the shops that do the high dollar European cars.. they generally have pretty good people... call the BMW dealer and ask the parts dept. who they would recommend for body work if they dont do it in house.

Its amazing how much you can save when you have cash, and beer!

Not sure if they're still around but RC autobody on Jefferson St. in SLC does outstanding work. They've done a few cruisers too. They are roughly between 1600 and 1700 S. and between 200 and 300 W.
