I'll skip the preamble, drama, fabrication, unfabrication, modifying, head-scratching, mumbling and otherwise boring stuff to present the end result. I'm too tired after a combined ~16 hours to detail the install (I'll do that later). So, here is the end (almost) result. I still have to move the license plate and wire the lamps. My very technical picnic-bench-thingy was used to postion the bumper whilst I did the head-scratch-thing trying to figure out how to modify the mounts.![]()
Ya gotta pay to play.............(like you haven't already).......![]()
I like the asymmetry of the backup light.
Tres cool.

The backup lamps are contained within the tail lamps. If you are looing at the "circle" below the spare tire that is a Kamar emblem.
Hmmmmm... Say what now? I have one of these sitting waiting to go on my '89 BJ74.... However, I was under the impression it was direct bolt on. :-/ Please detail all that was involved as soon as you can--I am wanting to throw mine on ASAP....I did not get very far last night. I got the existing bumper off the truck and made the cuts necessary on the Kamar in order to get it to clear the 74 spring mounts. I also painted the cut areas. I did get some pics but I have not had a chance to download them.
