those are factory brackets that are modded to fit both sides. the one has to be modded more to allow for Jerry can to be mounted.

thanks for the compliment. the paint isn't perfect but it is very nice. i have some touch ups to do but nothing major. it is nice to have it back in the Spa.

well, a bit of an update.
starting in June, so although it might seem we boogied right along it has been a few months in the process.
unload the body and give it a wash down

for the springs, they were completely torn down, sand blasted, PC and reassembled using new nylon sleeves. now that we have them on the truck, man what a difference for the movement of the springs. they flex nicely.

then came the positioning of the LED lighting and the Light Force fog/driving lights.
2 spots on the hinges
the 15" driving down on the bumper
2 fogs outer sides

prepping for the soft top install.
i was less than impressed with the quality of the paint job.
prep work sucked
taping sucked
bolts missing
no striker for the rear latch.

i did like the half doors on the rear.

missing attachment points
we opened the door and the upper inner trim piece hit the floor, NO bolts at all holding it on
bolt stuck through the B pillar hole so you couldn't install the side B pillar post
more missed paint
i did like the way he modified the cage for more foot clearance.

took the hoods off the dash lights and cleaned up inside the unit
the nylon gears inside were not meshing properly, we tried a fix but couldn't test it. I hope it holds up otherwise it is time for a replacement cluster.
this allows for much brighter lighting
mounting the ARB compressor
tight fit under the heater blower location but we knew it was going to be tight in the engine bay by the time we were done so we had to use where ever we could.

let the wiring begin
positioning the rear speakers, amp and inverter
once again, the goal is to be a clean install.
the rear speakers will double as arm rests
the rear seats will protect the amp and inverter from thieving eyes

next up was finding a spot for the front speakers and making a mount for them
take flat board
cut to size
hole saw proper size hold
heat and bend
hold in place for clearance issue test
position speaker for mounting holes to be drilled
