I didn’t even know there was a difference in filters between the two?

These came in today.

The stud blocks from 4x4 labs should be in tomorrow. Then I need this weather to calm down and find a friend with a welder.

4X4 labs stud blocks came in. I suppose I should clean the arms and paint them while I wait for the weather to get better.

These are seriously beefy. Almost overkill.

The rain took a break.

On the right side on the picture, you can see the awnings of the fishing docks. There's a 15ft drop that high school kids would jump off of into the lake.

This is a water pumping station. As you can see, you can't really see it.

An old town road, one way in and one way out.

I expected it to be much worse. Expecting more rain in the next few days.

For you guys running accessories and especially the Cummins crew, how many amps is your alternator rated at? I'm looking to swap in one that cranks out 120 amps ( owned it for over a year, never got around to installing it). Then, I started looking at the 250 amp ones, then the 320 amp ones. So obviously I can go overboard if I need to, but rather save the money for a much-needed fan shroud for the 911. In Iraq we ran our vehicles with two alternators to keep up with the radios, winches and so on.

I guess my question really is this, will 120 amps be enough for a subwoofer, lights, inverter, and a winch, or do I need to go bigger and if so by how much?

I run a CS144 GM alternator that's rated for 140 amps. I haven't been in a situation where that wasn't enough. Rarely or never do I have all of the things turned on at once but I run that list you provided. Perhaps running two batteries helps with the load.

Why not the 4x4 labs arms?

Why not the 4x4 labs arms?

I wrote Luke about the arms, he was in and out of the shop, so the comms were choppy and intermittent. Decided to get his stud blocks and get the lifetime warranty of trail gear arms which was also slightly cheaper. I'll send business his way the next chance I get.
