No problem. Decatur packs well but still had some minor fin damage (not bad enough to affect performance though). Damage is due to how toyota packages them from the factory and is fairly commonplace from what I've seen.
I just checked Toyota Decatur’s online shop now, it’s Go Time.

That's a killer price! What part number did you get? I read on here recently that there are 2 part numbers that work for the 100 radiator. No idea what/if there's a difference between them.

I purchased p/n: 16400-50290 which is now priced much higher.

Edit...looks like the mexico/global spec radiator is p/n: 16400-50360

Cheaper and per some sources larger capacity. If I do another one I'll go that route.

I've been going back and forth to compare both part numbers of the radiator and it appears to be the same. Unless I am missing something if anyone can shed light between the two I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

50290 has a different fin pitch. I have both in my garage. I will grab a pic for comparison. The fin pitch and spacing on 50290 is tighter.

I’d be interested to know the weight of each of the different OEM part number units. Perhaps the 50360 has a fewer fins per inch and is therefore lighter. Doubt there is significant real world efficiency difference but fun to speculate.

1998-2007 100 series, all use the same radiator and water pump. We do have 2 part numbers for Radiators & thermostats. Choose the cheaper, as they're all the same fit and function.

I always replace both upper & lower hoses, thermostat & gasket, cap (comes with rad), drain and blow out block and heater cores, then fill with only Toyota coolant. 98-03 toy LL (red) & distilled water. 04-up Toy SLL (pink).

Burping air from system over next few warm-up and cool down cycles is supper important.
Can't 98-03 uses SLL pink aswell?

Anybody have an actual OE 16400-50360 they can measure in MM's?

Here is the Denso 221315 (98-07) radiator. 3mm fin pitch.

Here ya go:

Not the best picture, but kinda hard to get the shot between the fan blades. Let me know if you need a better one.

I believe anyone can use SLL pink, but if you had the LL red in their previously you need to keep to that change schedule.

@awesomeissquid It looks like 3.5mm from the pic… though perspective is a bit from an angle.

So 1998-2002 LC/LX has the 16400-50360 part number (3.5mm fin pitch) and the 16400-5029 part number (3.0mm fin pitch) was for the YM 2003-2007 LC/LX?

The original 98-02 part number was <16400-50210> and the original '03-'07 radiator was <16400-50290>
Some years ago, the 98-02 part number was superseded by <16400-50360>. More recently, it seems the 50360 radiator is listed as the replacement for all years 98-07. All these radiators are interchangeable and probably fine for all of North America.

The <16400-50290> radiator, is the best of the bunch but also more expensive and maybe unnecessary. I suspect it'll go by the wayside in the future. If you have a lot of trinkets blocking the radiator, the 50290 might be the best choice for all years.

Date ordered from Toyota Decatur: September 8th. Received it today October 1st.
First impression, packaging is a 10/10, double-boxed. Checked the fins on one side and appears to be pristine without any bents.

Took a while but looks like it was worth it.

I was honestly expecting the worst based from the testimonies who ordered online. Inspected the radiator further and it came with the side foams and no distortion on the shape or whatsoever, even came with a brand new OEM radiator cap. For the price? Worth it indeed. Highly recommend the guys from Decatur.

Same experience here. Eric and crew are Serra Toyota did a fantastic job getting my radiator to me in one piece.

If you can wait for a 25% off sale and the month or so delivery time the OEM radiator is a no brainer, IMO.

Ok here are my impressions after 150 miles of driving the LX around town after the oem radiator swap; Coolant temps definitely lower peak-wise. Weather here in the valley hasn’t changed, here are my basic data:

On a stand waiting at the stoplight @100°F, 12% humidity, 50/50 pink coolant, good fan clutch;
Peak coolant temp pre-swap: 205°F
Peak coolant temp post-swap: 199°F

Freeway mostly flat grade with mild uphills at 70MPH, 100°F oat, 12% humidity, 50/50 pink coolant, good fan clutch:
Peak coolant temp pre-swap: 198°F
Peak coolant temp post-swap: 194°F

I have also noticed when it hits the peak temp, the temperature goes does down a lot quicker than how it was with the old radiator based on just observing how the temp changes once I accelerate from a stop.
