My 98 does not have the fold down cupholder... I was actually surprised to see how many came with it as I thought it was a more "luxury" item for the LXs..

Ben's insert works with the fold-down cupholder in place. The cupholder is just useless and takes up space.

Nice color @Redefined

I see your "Purple Rain" and raise you a "Clockwork Orange"! :)
The fit is perfect, thank you Ben for helping feed my insatiable appetite to keep gear -even the little bits- organized!

Ben- Just went through all 81 pages here. I already have your right side ram and scan gauge II overhead mount and love them! I had no idea how much more you have built! I am sending you a DM for a good sized order... seems you and I think alike on functionality :)

Perfect! Ben, you did an amazing job! Easy trims and a perfect fit on the M12V3 and M2V2.

Got the center console tray installed. Its a exact fit, I mean exact....had to tap into place for it to fit. So my LC had the factory fold down cup holder option. This option also looks like it has a rubber seal around the edge that other LC's without the factory cup holders.

I can tell you that the center console does NOT close correctly with the console organizer and the cup holders. But the removal of the cup holders was pretty easy. Just have to drive out the pivot pins. With the cup holders removed, the console now closes perfectly.

Ben - how about slide out trays in the rear cargo area for the long fold up compartment with the flip up lid so we can remove the long piece of elastic that long ago lost its stretch? You could also add inserts to the trays for tools like sockets, wrenches, etc.

I third this suggestion, the factory elastic on mine resembles old underwear, no elasticity left! :)

I promised Ben I would add a shot of my wife's phone holder, which got lots of kudos and resulted in approval for additional amenities! :)

Lots of people wanting to add reverse camera to their LC. Limited options for viewing outside of the Navic unit for factory nav displays.
Any thoughts on fabricating an adapter plate for the OE toyota rearview mirror mount to make it a standard D Mount? Would allow for multiple options to install aftermarket rearview mirrors with built in LCD for viewing.

Will take a look.

Any reason you wouldn't just buy a d-tab mount for $25 and swap out your OEM one?

I have only read about 1 person trying to take off the factory metal mount and it shattered their windshield. Then, the replacement windshield came with the Toyota mount already installed.

My rear view mirror fell off because of its age and a strong bass track. When it fell off, it put a hole 1/2 way through my windshield. So I had to get the windshield replaced and that was a whole other ordeal. Needless to say, I finally got it straighten out but, it required me buying all new moldings.
